I also wanted one so much. They looked amazing, throw a rear disc and decent springs it would be a great bike today.

When I was 14/15 in 1984 I raced a heavily modified TT600 in OpenB in Wisconsin. Great bike, but it was heavy. Wish they had come out with the 350 a couple years earlier.

Nice! When I was 14 the Yamaha dealer had a little field behind his shop and he let me take both the TT350 and IT200 for a spin. I was only about 135 pounds and had a hard time with the weight of the 350 and I loved the 200 so that's what I got. Loved that IT, but thought the TT looked nice with its YZ styling. Would have loved a YZ125 but my dad had no interest in doing the maintenance on an MX bike, and it was mainly for trail riding anyways. Could never understand why they didn't keep the IT around as it was bulletproof and fun.
