I remember seeing him in the early Crusty videos on a KX mini and thinking he was a badass kid back then. Watch this video. Great edit, great soundtrack, incredible riding after a crazy injury.

Dudes got some balls. I just hope kids don't get inspired to do these type of stunts.

Yeah, I cringed at the hit into that cement wall also. That nose manual at the end was so cool.

I cursed out loud at the cement wall at work haha. Damn!

Good video man, makes me really miss the old MX vids. This felt like an old school moto vid part.

He has a lot of heart and is dedicated to the game. He fought hard to get back on a bike. I really have a lot of admiration for him. Pumped to see Fox back him.

Pretty savage to take a dirtbike to the streets like that, especially after his injury, the photos on his insta page of the injury and the healing process are as bad as Roczens arm. Hopefully we saw some more edits!

Ha, I was wondering what happened to him. I still hang my kids upside down and tell them that I'm gona knock their ass into neutral 😂

Song choice. Infinitely better.

That and there weren't hundreds of dudes blocking traffic. I did have the same thought, though. I've seen a few vids of Josh Hill riding the Alta at skateparks and a few street scenes, but this whole vid (minus a few dirt hits) was a confused skateboard video - bros giving high fives after hitting a stair gap or handrail, getting kicked out by security, etc.

Still riding all over the streets like a thug.

I mean they show him parking his van on a damn street and gearing up like it’s a riding area.

Sorry, but if that’s “cool” to you then you can’t be helped cause I learned long ago stupid is not a trait that can be fixed.

Change my mind....

Yeah, I understand that this video was all on the up and up, obviously Fox/filmers got permits etc.

I just don't see how this is "cool" to anyone above the age 16 or so, how is it good to promote riding on streets and a bunch of other illegal places?

The riding and the music, plus the return from a major injury/almost death is pretty cool to me.

I'm easy going though. In this day and age what he is doing on the streets isn't so bad compared to what I've seen in the news lately.

Fair point, we do have some shit shows going on to say the least.

I guess when I see stuff like this the old man in me just thinks "how is this good for dirt bikes? Is this really the image we want out there? Is this really want we want kids aspiring to do?"

At the end of the day I fully realize a video or 2 like this isn't going to kill dirt bikes, I just honestly and truly don't see how a company like Fox can back it.

To each their own.

This video blew up on social media. One of Milford’s good buddys is pro skater Nyjah Houston. He shared the video, he has 4.4 million followers and rides himself. This vid probably sold more dirtbikes than any other event in the past few months

Honestly,

I thought his but didn’t have the balls to post it.

I love the comeback story
The skill he has is awesome
It’s shot nicely
Music is rad

But at the end of the day, it’s illegal, destruction of property, trespassing .... you could go on and on. So it really is no difference then the wheelie boys. Unless, you just automatically assume the wheelie boys are all in stolen bikes.

I hope he can continue to ride and this propels him to be able to do bigger projects, pull permits, have secure lock ups and last but not least, get some good health insurance.

I see the side of illegal riding, but the thing that bothers me with all of these comments is that you're all pinpointing on the fact he's riding a dirtbike.

The way I look at it, all he's doing is changing out a skateboard, or bmx bike, for his dirtbike. In the video he doesn't ride anywhere in traffic, just on some stair sets and what appears to be the spillway for the LA river? and obviously the offroad stuff we don't bat an eye at ever. He's not endangering anyone but himself, unlike the wheelie boyz you all compare him too who are weaving in and out of traffic in broad daylight.

I guess the point is that I don't understand the negativity on a video that is innovative and unique to our sport. Dirtbikes doesn't grow because people continue to be "gatekeepers", similar to what skateboarding was experiencing in the late 90's and early 2000's.

If this video was in the hills only, would it change your mind? because regardless that is still illegal. IMO, if you aren't down with it, don't try to replicate it. Action sports are always evolving, and who's to say this direction is either right or wrong? All it does is create more exposure for dirt bikes, and isn't the old saying "All publicity is good publicity"?

Also cut the crap with "destruction of property", a tire mark on a concrete ledge isn't destroying it

I like your take on it. It definitely had that skateboard vibe to it.
Made me think of the Birdhouse "The End" video, specifically Heath Kirchart, and Jeremy Klein's part. Probably why I liked it so much.

I'm more into snowboarding, I really loved the movie "LANDLINE" by Vans Snow that was dropped a few years ago, which also gives a somewhat similar vibe. But I'm glad someone has a positive attitude towards it, I feel like moto needs stuff like this to help bring back in those outside sponsors, or even just generate more buzz around dirt bikes as a whole, regardless of what avenue it is.

At the risk of bursting into flames, I agree with Regis here....LOL

I also see the skate video aspect as well.

While it sounds corny and not very "core," I don't believe it'd be a bad idea to have disclaimers saying that it was permitted (got permits), no outside people were hurt, no private property damaged without compensation and "Kids don't try this at home"

Different time now than those early skate videos.

Find a way to be core, but also responsible and not encourage illegal or dangerous acts.
