To me those bikes sound like no other. Kind of a VW buggy sound. I've never noticed the 450 sounding much different than other 450's, but the YZ250F definitely sounds different than other 250's. You really notice it when they are going up hills.

I agree, that motor sounds sick (bad sick, not good sikk). But if you're just bolting on parts without doing a little tuning along the way the components aren't going to exactly be in harmony. It will be singing by H1.

VW would be the exact thought I have too. Almost like a duo-tone type of sound. Very different for sure. Doesn't sound correct to me, but IDK.

The Yamaha definitely has a different sound to it. It’s taking me a bit to get used to while riding.
