Moog is just cheep Chinese junk now, their parts have gone down hill.
I hate my ridgegrapps, over hyped street tires
Most people I know with them on F250s (I know four at work) just run the streets with them. They’re quiet and provide a good ride...

And Moog still has a lifetime warranty even if made by the Chinese. OP can get some dynatrac stuff if he’s willing to pony up that kind of cash.
The trail grapplers are better tires, good hybrid,
I’d definitely go for dynatrac or carli

I thought it was the Dodge trucks that had all the problems with the ball joints flying out of them?
Usually it’s a solid axle thing, dodges have horrible front ends but carli makes good parts to fix it, and thuren

I just feel the need to reiterate this. Death wobble is possible with anything that has a solid front axle. Full size fords, jeeps, toyota land crushers, mercedes g wagons, original broncos. IFS vehicles handle worn out parts better.

Two questions:

1) are your ball joints and hub bearings good?

2) have you looked into running dual stabilizers?
Ball joints seemed fine and I’ve got dual stabilizers coming. It’s going in the shop on Wednesday for a second opinion on the alignment and hopefully they’ll be able to point me to something.

Should have bit the bullet and bought new. Thought I’d save some money but now it’s turning into a headache and money pit.

Getcha a redneck ram with hydro assist and you dont need no stabilizers.

If it’s a 6.7 powerstoke I’d go trade that in before it blows up,

Throw on the dual stabs, and if your ball joints/track bar & control arm bushings are good then you should be set.

Even with questionable ball joints, dual stabs do quite a bit to smooth out straight axle trucks with bigger and wider tires.

A worn out steering box is a common cause of the death wobble for trucks and jeeps.

It sounds like there is a damper in the system. I'm not sure how the dampers work on trucks but if they are anything like the ones I use on my motorcycles there's no way that shake should happen if it is working, even if the geometry is off or there are other faulty parts. Why even have one if it doesn't prevent that kind of rapid movement?
