Fmf powercore 2 Vs powercore 2.1

Other than aesthetics and the 2.1 being heavier , out on track would there be any difference between the two power wise ?I think the 2.1 looks a little nicer but the older version is cheaper ,would appreciate any information on this.

I dont know why anyone would put a 4 stroke style exhaust on a 2 stroke. Seems pretty stupid to me and a way for the manufacturer to cut costs.

Agreed it’s a nice looking exhaust but to big for a 125 IMO will be swapping it for a powercore 2

They look pretty neat, I wasn’t all about them when they first came out, but they grew on me, if they just weren’t so expensive, and they are a bit heavier than the old style oval can, but still cool looking

Looks like dangerboy uses the older less expensive powercore 2 silencer on his 125

Where do you get this Old Style Powercore 2 for the new Generation KTM??
Found only the 2.1 so I switch to a PRC Shorty on my 300 SX 2019
