I know it's a message board and alot of you like to fish. Jason is an easy target, brought on by himself, maybe someone could come up with some facts? Anyone talk to any of his sponsors? You all seem to know all his sponsors are pissed, but nobody has quoted any of them. Face it boys, all this is just speculation on your part, you really don't know anything about the topic and a just guessing at best, to promote your posistion.
I called it......"Bi-Polar, with a side order of Tooty Fruity"...

Im not sure where anyone has said the sponsors are pissed, we've all said that if we were the sponsors we would be pissed or that they must be getting pissed by now. Its not about making stuff up, its common sense, anyone that has spent time in racing and finding and securing sponsors knows what they want and hopefully how to keep them happy. Put yourself in there shoes, if you gave him all that money would you be happy with his this season or to put it how sponsors actually think, did you get the return on the money you spent this year ? If I were them it would be a big NO and Id probably be in the process of getting some money back .
Ok so if he is actually to hurt to race, the sponsors are ok to ask for their money back? So Kawasaki will be refunding Monster a bunch of coin right? No Ferry, no Villopoto, they have some fill in guys , but Monster isn't really paying the big bucks for fill in guys with three digit numbers now are they? Red Bull should be demanding money back from Honda about now, you know since Townley is out, still. Injuries are a part of the deal, I'm sure all the sponsors know that before they sign a team or a rider. You go ahead and keep guessing about what sponsor feels what way. Until somone has some facts or a press release saying they are dropping him and his team, I am going to assume the sponsors are still with and not asking for money back.
You say "anyone who has spent time in racing" knows this and that, yet you obviously haven't spent any time in racing. If you had you would know injuries happen. The only facts I've seen come from anything 338 related are that he crashed pretty bad before Glen Helen. This year? We are only three races in to the outdoors, season a long way from over.

LOL, yeah I havent spent my whole life around racing. Did I miss something ...... I thought he still had the same sponsors from SX, whats his excuse there? Come on really, Id say he raced last weekend but you cant call that racing, than shows up this weekend and makes 1 lap or whatever it was and pulls off. Id like to hear what the reason was just like everyone else, but he seems to lack in another department when it comes to giving his sponsors exposure. The guy is awesome on a bike, off the bike he's an idiot and is throwing away a chance at an awesome career...... and all Im saying is if he keeps at the rate he's been going , SX season included dont look for his team to be around much longer, I know if I worked for his team Id be nervous when it came contract time again. And yes if I was one of his current sponsors Id be looking into my lack of return of investment. But hey, I just crawled out from under a rock and have never raced or ran a business in my life, lol.

The fact is any publicity is good publicity.
J-Law is doing what Tyler Evans TRIED to do - be the baddass of the sport.
I bet J-Laws sponsors get more coverage for their money from team J-Law than any other team.
With the way media is nowdays you can make money from JUST being a personality... I dont see anyone ragging on Pastrana because he "plays round all day"...
There are thousands of wana-be badass kids who LOVE J-Law..

Does he have his own clothing line like hart & huntington? If not he needs to- all those little punks who adore him would be keen buy his signiture clothing line.....

Go to any track full of amatures and u will see so many 338's its unreal - hes got a fanbase, and thats all that really matters.

It's his career, why are so worried about it? It's his sponsors, again why are you so worried about it?
Go pick up a mx magazine, he is all over them. If he signed a one year deal with his sponsors and his riders, then yes they may all be gone next year. Do you how long he signed his sponsorships for? Lacking in giving his sponsors exposure?? Are you kiding? Yes he hasn't raced, but he is one of the most highly visable riders out there. He isn't in his RV before and after the races, he is out walking around chatting it up and taking pics with with the fans, more than I can say for most the guys. Ever think that the sponsors he has knew what they were getting before they signed him? He has a been doing the same thing for years. It isn't like he was Dungey, and then changed over night and became J-Law. This is who he is, and if his sponsors didn't know that going in, the shame on them.

Maybe his sponsors are not on the fine for their full commitment if he doesn't race? Ever think of that? Probabley not, way better to speculate and put yourself in thier posistion.

You obviously know what his contract says, and how much it is worth each week?
So you think it's just his team that shoud be nervous around contract time? Have you seen the economy? I think ALL guys with contracts in the mx should be nervous around contract time, not just his team.

I don't know what business your in, but when you sign a contract you can put exactly what you want to in them, and if both parties agree, they sign. You know for a fact that his contract says he has to race all twelve rounds? Maybe it says he has to race 8 rounds for it to be valid?

He has a freakin two page ad in the latest Racerx for Pro Taper, and as mentioned he is on the cover!! Maybe put away the last two months of Seventeen magazines and check out a moto related one? Hell, he has a two page shot of the Hepler fiasco in ther too. So a cover and two, two paged pics of him, thats just in the first 25 pages of the magazine. Maybe get your eyes checked?

Lechein won many races including the MX Des Nations as well as the 85' 125 outdoor title. I think "j-Law" has some catching up to do.

Those adds were placed at a time when JLaw MAY have still had some normal centered fans and also at time when he could actually pay for them and that cover was put together months ago as was anything you may see about him in any mag.. Nope IMO he is not so cool as you think Trip..

fuck ups love other fuck ups simple as that because it validates their own anti social behaviour and other problems in life.

So now you work for Racer X and know the cover was set months in advance?? Really? Are you claiming this as fact or opinion?? Just how many months in advance are covers decided on? So now he has not raced in a while right, so since your in the business, let me know when I will no longer see any advertising of him in the mags.

Look I didn't call you a name, so why you calling me one? You want to talk about what a fuck up J-Law is,then you go and call someone you don't know one? All I am saying is get some facts, and now you want to call me names?

It's not a matter of thinking he is cool or not. I wish he would race, and I don't know anything about his contract or why he hasn't raced, just like the rest of you. Instead of pileing on,on Internet rumors, I'll just assume he is still hurt and not ready to race yet. Keep up with the name calling though, really shows your maturity level.
