Not familiar with those specific forks, but typically there will be a jam nut on the cartridge rod and an inner rod (usually a “D” shaped tube). Either one could’ve fallen out. I’d also check the cartridge rod thoroughly for straightness and surface finish. If your adjuster came out it’s possible the cartridge rod was bent upon compression and/or scarred where it will (or already has) cut the cartridge seal.

That’s what I was thinking. I’m more familiar with the older twin chamber (dual spring) Showas and their similar KYB counterparts. That said, I’d guess that your adjuster side is similar. Was it the whole rebound adjuster housing (big aluminum bolt with the adjuster inside)?

I guess its the cartridge spring ofcorse and looks like a collar or sleeve. im wondering what the clicker connects to after screwing on to th rod ? is there a pushrod in there maybe on the diagram blown up it doesn't show but that don't make sense cause what don't the adjuster adjust once installed on the cart rod

I've seen you ask in a couple of threads now so #46102 is the "D" shaped push rod that would go inside and connect the adjuster bolt to the rebound needle in the damper rod.

Just rebuilt a set of these today... no adjuster on the spring side it’s a blank bolt... the only adjustment on the spring side is the preload and an air bleed screw... the opposite fork has both rebound and compression adjustment...

^^^ What Paul said is correct then, there is no rebound adjuster or push rod for the spring side. I misunderstood when you said you lost you rebound bolt.
