Zach is fast. I didn't realize how fast Zach was until I saw it in person. His bike is dialed in.
Adam is fast. Later in the motos he was getting sketchy. After going down with Marvin he
wasn't riding the same.
I don't know what the deal is with Tomac. The last half of the second moto he was awesome.
Sexton was fast and smooth with a little sketchiness exiting corners. A lot of wheel spin.
Marvin was fast. He faded towards the end of the motos. His pass on Adam was clean. There was a breaking bump/kicker right at the turn. Marvin had a wheel on Adam on the outside and dropped into the line. Adam had to brake as he was pinched off. His back wheel kicked up and he went over the bars.
Bagget didn't have anything for the leaders.

Ferrandis is in a class of his own. He made his passes and pulled away. His pass on Jmart was clean. The Yamahas are dialed in! He appeared to be the fastest rider in both classes.
Jmart is fast. I don't think his Honda is set up as well as the Star yamahas.
Jetson is fast and sketchy. Future champion.
Amart is fast. He tried the same move on his brother that Marvin did on Adam and almost went down.
Cooper was fast.

Hot day. Lot of passes in the rollers. Lot of lappers. Anstie was decent.
We had a good time. The last national I went to was about 13 years ago at Glen Helen.
Greatest sport on earth!

Good takes but Marvin's pass wasn't clean. Watch the video. He came into contact with AC from behind so how can it possibly be clean? That move ended AC's title hopes, which weren't too strong after Zachs performance but now AC doesn't have a chance even if he wins out.

not clean when you plow adams elbow from behind and cause his front end to knife (and then over the bars). typical moosekan incident. couple like this every year sinces hes been pro here. its called hold up and wait for a better pass, moose cannot do that tho.

Nice summary, thanks.

Sexton was fast and smooth with a little sketchiness exiting corners. A lot of wheel spin. (Honda handling)

To be fair there were multiple riders in both classes throughout the day that met at the entrance of that particular corner under similar circumstances. I think they all wanted it and no one was willing to shut off.
If your a big AC fan I can definitely see your side.
That’s just Racing imo. Just my .02

MM25 pushed it when he did not have a clear path to make the pass.

Tomac could have done something similar to Zach at the end of the 2nd moto but backed off.

Of course, racing to win has risk and Marvin took the risk. It paid off for him but he got lucky.

Guys that’s Motocross Racing not quilting. Going for the same line is part of the sport. Do we DQ anyone and everyone for being aggressive. Look at the pushing and shoving off the start. Man up.

Yeah man. When 2 guys arrive at the same place at the same time who decides who backs off. That shit happens a lot. Racing 101.

Sexton is quietly having a killer rookie season. I like what’s happening for him.

"To be fair"...

I would be pissed if someone took my bar out from behind because they weren't willing to shut off.

Tomac races clean. Marv does not. Been proven many times.

Yes, MM25 pulls some bad moves at times. AC should be pissed off. Yes, it was racing but someone hitting your elbow from behind is not so good.

Copper Webb would have been upset and be planning his retaliation. Wink Adam may be too nice.

On the Tomac/Zach deal...I thought Eli was going to hold it on and pass him. I suppose Zach came over so hard to take the line Eli decided it was smarter to back off. Especially since it was meaningless to him at this point.

Notice AC didn't say anything negative on the podium about Marv's move? I was wondering if he'd call him out.

I saw Jett lose the rear several times coming out of the turn onto the rollers. He was riding the outside edge of the track and it was really loose/soft. I saw him nearly go down twice there. He was the best Geico rider through the rollers. All the others were landing mostly on the face of the rollers. Amart and the Star guys were the best through the rollers.

I was in that scaffolding right at that corner, I saw it all, and it was a "shit happens, that's racing" moment (AC vs MM).
