I dont know about y'all but i liked that the next round was sooner than a week out. I do understand that in a normal situation if it meant changing venues it wouldn't be possible for track crews but I'd like to see maybe two midweek races for example: run A1 & A2 sat/wed then Atlanta 1&2 sat/wed.

This would shorten the whole schedule down by two weeks and it reality it's not more than they do in training during the week.

Not a bad idea.

But could these stadiums sell out on a Wednesday?

Also, they only did the double Atlanta race one time if i recall. Was when i lived there, it was awesome, took my kids one weekend, then partied with my friends the next weekend.

I’m good with once a week. You start cramming in more races and there will be a longer off season. Plus the teams and riders will never go for it unless we find ourselves in very special circumstances like this again in the future. Not to mention fans aren’t going to make a 6 hour drive to the closest SX for a Wednesday race. The crowds would be tiny.

Don't mind the Wednesday night races but have it a little bit earlier. 10pm start in the east coast on a weekday will kill live viewing numbers

Cooper Webb said he likes it better with no practice days just racing. The riders/teams are loving the "vacation" setting. Mountain bike/fishing/race. I like it better as a fan also.

They don’t sell out regardless

If they did a Wednesday race I don’t think getting to the next city and building a new track by Friday is realistic.

I read this last week. Seems to be in agreement with what you guys are saying, And I agree too. The riders want a longer off season, so Wednesday races could be the answer...

That was my thinking too. Give these guys more of a break to have a life, they race year round. It’s like working 8hrs/day 5 days a week vs working 10hrs/day 4 days a week. Still 40hrs, but the latter gets a 3 day weekend every week.

More than one track building crew perhaps?

If they did a few races on Wednesday, all it will do is give a 2 week break during the middle of the sx season. The series would still end the same weekend as always.

If you try to get these guys to fly to different cities to do a Wednesday night, all it will do is get more people hurt from the fatigue. 1 race per week is the way to do it (unless it’s a special circumstance)
