Can’t you loosen the bolt on the bracket so you can adjust it?

I had two of those silencers on my rm250 back in the day and the fit was never that good and both cracked the bracket in the same place.

The subframes had 2 different mounting points for the silencer between 04-06 and 07/08.

04-06 has one mount of each side of sub frame.

07-08 had in line mounts all on the outside of the sub frame,

Unfortunately the silencers only fit the 08 without mods.

Just get an engineer to grind off the inside mount and move it to the outside.

I have an 08 and a 304 fits perfectly.

I do believe Euro models had different mounts to USA models at one point. I think us Euros had longer silencers and two mounts, whilst USA had shorter silencers and one mount. I can't tell you what years this was though.

I think some of the issues you guys are running in to is that in 07 Suzuki changed silencers and the right side panel for all of the world except the USA. The US bikes kept the old parts. I know at UFO we had to make a new right side panel for everywhere except the states. Also I got an Euro HGS exhaust for my 06 US RM 250 and the silencer was way off mounting to the subframe.

First two from the 2001 RM250 manual - so STOCK MOUNTING

Pics of Actual R304 on subframe.

Took these in a hurry LMK if I can be of any other help, despite the year difference, I believe the 02 is closer to an 01 than and 03 in most aspects. The aftermarket Clymer manual has 96-02, most of the break-downs in the book are (96-00) and the (01-02) are usually grouped together in things that service walk-throughs.

PC may be able to help via email and photos as well
