I was lucky enough to pick up a fresh 2020 from Western Honda here in AZ last Friday

My theme for this build is the Penrite Honda's with a few personal touches

I've decided to waste no time on this build and stripped it down before starting it

First up is greasing my headset / linkage and get some parts ordered

I'm very fortunate to have some parts from past bikes including 2019 Works Edition suspension, FMF 4.1's, ARC composite levers, and raptor foot pegs

Some pictures cleaning up my 4.1s

Next up is updating my works edition suspension with new springs, new valving specs, and gold valves.

Thankfully it's being done in house by Bob Blose

KenBone, you have so many sick bikes. Are you getting your WE forks done up to put back on it or to put on this 250?

Thanks man! I actually sold my WE a couple months ago and was able to keep the suspension for this build

I'm still waiting on a few parts but the goal is to get it rolling so I can get it off my lift for the time being

Super excited to try out the new Renthal FATBAR 36 bars / clamps

I really like the new OEM Honda fatbar bend but they don't offer it in the new bars yet so I went with the closest thing available ( stewart / RV bend)

I got most of my UFO plastics in but still waiting on a few pieces coming from the east coast

With the shock in I put on my FMF's & Raptor Ti pegs

Also got the updated Twin Air filter for the 2020's

Got the forks on and was able the get it off my lift and lay it down to put a new clutch cover on
This is purely for resale purposes since I love the feel of stock clutches but need the durability of the Hinson cover

I also forgot to take pictures of my Factory Connection Pull Rods but you can see em here

A few updated pictures for now

Finally got my Dubya Edge wheel set in, really excited to try these out and really see how durable they are.

Went ahead and mounted up a fresh pair of mx33's with new rim locks and kenda tuff tubes

Also got the new UFO stadium plate with the brake line running behind the plate. Not sure if I'm gonna keep this or switch it out with a standard Cycra stadium.

The end goal for this bike is a cool photoshoot with some friends so I'm resisting the urge to ride till it's completely done

Looks good! I wanted a set of those wheels and hubs for my cr125 but they don’t offer the hubs for that bike yet. I went with tusk impact instead. I’m interested to see how people like the edge setup.

The Cycra stadium plate runs the brake line in front of the plate instead of behind it like the UFO plate.

I've been hoping the right deal on a set of used clamps will come along since i'm struggling to justify the price of new X-trigs. But If anyone has a set of clamps they want to part with please let me know

I am also looking for used xtrig rocs but here in Spain there is hardly any market for this type of parts

Ended up calling Ride Engineering and got a set of 21mm offset clamps plus a front brake line/clamp

Stripped down the front end

The clamps came with a bottom bearing and race so I had to tap out my stock one

The main reason I went with these clamps over an xtrig is bar clamps. Ride engineering uses the stock rubber mounted system allowing me to run the Renthal fatbar 36 clamps and bar.

My plan is to add a showa steering dampener. Lucky I saved one from an old bike but I have order the spacer and hardware

Hoping to get everything here by the end of the week to finish it up
