So Cal MX Track Tire Selection

New to track riding. As a matter of fact, I've never been on a MX track. I've ridden Off Road my whole life. But I recently was gifted a 2006 RMZ250 and it needs new tires. I have no idea what track conditions are like (even though I'm from So Cal). I will be riding at places such as Pala (Fox Raceway), Lake Elsinore, Perris and surrounding areas.

Can anyone in the area point me in a good direction? Soft compound? intermediate, hard? etc. Thanks in advance.

The Dunlop MX33 is a good all around tire for So Cal.

I'd go with an intermediate/hard set-up. By the time we get through this isolation thing, we could be into warmer weather. The int/hard tire will work in the A.m. and the p.m. when tracks start drying out.
Carlino Joes recommendation is good.

Dunlop is doing rebates on tires right now. The MX 33 rebate is $20. Just stocked up myself.

Bridgestone has $40 rebate on RMATVMC. i went with the x30 which I think is the same as M403.
