What are crf cone valves worth?

Edited Date/Time 4/11/2020 1:58pm
Have a set of cones off an 18 crf 450. They have 10-15 hours on them. Couple nics on the lugs. And some rash from the clamps. Spring for 210 Vet A. Setup by powerband. Wondering what they are worth. Thanks

Honestly no because the stock suspension are exact replicas of current kit forks...with that said you can do the exact same tuning with the stock forks. WP has smaller base pistons, smaller mid pistons, and also smaller dampening rods. I’d say the quality of stock Showa components are just as good as WP cone valve components build wise

So if I pulled apart the forks from one of the JGR bikes you work on and the forks off of a showroom new bike, they’d be 100% identical? I find that tough to buy.

So this article is incredibly inaccurate? What would be the point in using 2011 stuff in an article dated 2019 while claiming it’s 2018 stuff? Educate me. You’re more intelligent than I am when it comes to this stuff. I’m only able to read what’s printed. If printed info is wrong, that’s messed up.

Why on earth would a suspension company try to convince me that my stock suspension isn't very good and i should buy theirs?

They also don’t have billet lugs or DLC lowers.

There is a considerable cost there.

2200 is a very fair price in my opinion.
