Michael explains what happened in both cases in the weeks Pulp show. I have to say, i'm not that impressed by either Robin nor Walker. Especially Walker who seems to be a really smart dude and like Steve said, putting that "statement" out there right after Robin's departure was a stupid move that probably blew this up and made the team and ML look bad.

Anyways, Michael is doing an awesome job and i can't wait to see what a healthy Starling and Blose can do when the racing resumes.

I’ve never qualified for the fast 40, got close twice, have a by-comparison small following and would love to ride one of your Honda 250f’s ML. I’m available for $0 salary.

Walker said nothing about Robin.

I’ll stand by my mxtech1 statement after listening. Not sure why Steve hates Jeff so much. Must have something to do with the YouTube following. If he didn’t know Jeff was going to be on the outdoor team, or initially the SX team he’s been living under a rock.

I'm almost more confused now after listening to ML on the pulp show.

Tough times no doubt for any team let alone a new one but some questionable moves for sure.

Walker didn't say anything about Robin, but Walker released his statement shortly after Robin came out and left the team.

ML says he was going to provide some support on outdoors, transport and bikes but it wouldn't be a whole program like SX. Also says he was unable to retain him another year based off of his 2020 SX results(Robin). Alludes to lots of uncertainty and giving Robin options and trying to come up with an agreement that worked best for everyone. ML's main focused seemed to be getting Robin best prepared to finish out the SX series in the fall and have momentum for 2021 SX.

ML seems to be getting the short end of the stick, and Steve didn't appreciate Walkers handling of it to say the least

Sounds like Jerry wanted to be back on a KTM, which arguably, he had some great rides on outdoors last year.

Walker on the other hand, wow, lost a lot of respect for him if that's truly how it went down.

Lot of respect for ML for giving the race team a go.

Steve was all about the party in Temecula with ML on this one. I’ll just leave it at that.

Jeff will be fine. I hope Jerry can get his stuff lined out.

Before questioning too much, remember Blose was doing well before he was hurt. He’s ridden for a ton of teams at all levels and he’s 100% behind the team and with them. He was great last year, won the Aus title, and performed this year. He’s had other options and could get support elsewhere and is choosing this program. That should answer some questions.

Jerry and Jeff will be ok. I know a lot about the Jerry one as we are close. What ML said is accurate. He just needed to reboot on his own program even though it means less support.

Jeff is great at what he does and will have no problem getting support to do things his way.

It's a bummer deal for everyone involved. I want to see the team and all of the riders do well. Can't wait to see what Starling, Schock and Blose do once we get back to racing.

Honestly listening to it now i don't get it. ML was trying to play it cool like "it sucks, but it happens". Steve threw a few jabs into Jeff but that's just what Steve does i guess. It is nothing to write multiple paragraphs here in my eyes.

Nobody ever spells my name right. Even when I worked at Vital I would occasionally get jerseys with my name spelt wrong on the back.

Shit happens. I know Jeff isn’t stoked, I know Jerry isn’t stoked, I’m not stoked, sponsors aren’t stoked, but shit happens in racing, life, work and friendships. I tried to take any emotion out of my call-in and just talk about it. I wish the best for Jerry and Jeff for the rest of the year and the following seasons. Jerry has the talent and Jeff has the reach to both make careers from Moto. I’ve continually had sponsors call me questioning about helping them. I had two reach out to me yesterday about Walker and I told them both he holds great value and to help him out if they can. Things are tough right now in the industry and world in general. I hope it all works out and we all go racing.

Am I alone in thinking that ML didn't really make anyone out to be the bad guy? Seemed like a pretty fair representation of just facts, no name calling, no put downs.

Yeah i dont see how Jeff came out looking bad at all. Seemed to me the virus situation is more to blame then any other one thing.

But we arent getting the full story so what do any of us know.
