Awesome ! That was some great old school MX on a killer track. I don't think I've seen "ol Carlsbad much better than that. I always loved the way American Sports Cavalcade did their MX/SX coverage - especially Daytona SX, they always did a great job. I've always liked the announcers - Paul Page & Steve Evans even though they are auto racing announcers, they are real pros and always did their homework and did a great job announcing MX & SX.
Great thread and yes I agree Paul Page and Steve Evans did a great job announcing I still have the VHS tape somewhere.

They were obviously on location. Do you think they called the race live (even though it was tape delayed)? Regardless, they were prepared and delivered a great commentary on the broadcast. True professionals.
