Pro x makes a rebuild kit... I believe 86-87 interchange.. 88 uses a different water pump setup so I think 88 left crank half end is different. I had Ken O’Conner in Ct rebuild my 87 crank with Pro X parts, we had to use oem thrust washers to get the proper crank width. I have a build on here for my 87 that goes into more detail.

We bought a new Pro X rod kit, but the crank does have some pitting and 2-strokes need a weird jig, so we couldn’t take it to a nearby shop with a simple press. Thanks for the response!

We just got news from our machine shop that the left exhaust valve was broken into two pieces Sad . Where can I get the best price on the valve?

Exhaust Valves on these bikes had a bad habit of snapping off & dropping into the cylinder causing all sorts of damage. They can be hard to find, and pricey....... I do not think they are available from Suzuki anymore, try eBay, Facebook specific RM groups. There may be someone across the pond making new valves...if you find used valves, look at the stems of the valves, if they are heavily worn and show deep grooves, they will be breaking in short order.
