One member of the McLaren team tested positive for the corona virus!
The team has decided to withdraw for the race.
Ross Brawn already said if a team can't race the doesn't count for the championship.

If a team can't make it to the race because of regulation, the race won't count.

If a team decide by themselves to withdraw, race goes without them and count

FIA and F1 are looking into the next steps to take, whats safest for everyone. More than likely we will see the race, or future races being postponed.

This coronavirus is going to get a lot uglier before it gets better.

Apparently the mood in the paddock is not pleased with race direction, many are voicing concerns that it’s unwise to continue on with hundreds of thousands coming into one place. Hamilton was most vocal during a media scrum.

Now talk is that F1 staff employees are being told not to go to the track, per @f1broadcasting on Twitter.

The FIA has stated they will not race unless all teams participate. A team isn't going to risk crashing a car worth 800k to 1 million for a non points race. I expect the race and the season to be postponed by the end of the day.

Reports are conflicting. F1 Broadcasting is saying that TV crews have been told not to report, while Sky Sports is now saying that the race is moving forward. The teams met a little earlier to discuss everything so I'd imagine we'll be getting an official announcement soon.

Sky Sports' report:

He claims he talked to a team principal and was told the teams have decided to move forward with the race, minus McLaren.

Edit: BBC is now reporting that the GP will be called off. It seems like the conflicting reports could be because the FIA and the teams had separate meetings. Teams decided they'd be willing to go forward, but the FIA ultimately decides. Official announcement should be coming soon.
