Italy is on total lockdown. They closed every ski area for the season today. No gatherings, etc. Cancelled all sporting events. Basically allowed to go to required jobs, grocery stores, and that's about it. Lot of tough guys acting like this isn't a big deal, well it is.

Whilst lots of people don’t have many symptoms, it still kills people, so if you see an older person dying because of it, would you say to them “Tom Hanks has this, and he isn’t even that sick”

If the virus infects as many people as the flu, you do realize it will kill many millions of people yeah?

i think its a bit more serious than just he flu, its more deadly, and transmits faster,

the Spanish flu killed 50 million in 1918, 2.7% of the worlds population, was that just the flu as well?

Not to get off topic but, my sister has worked in aged "care" for about 12 years and I worked at 5 facilities *for 3 years doing maintenance (owned by the same crook) and it's horrible! Corona is the least of their worries.

That is true about the Spanish flu. No way they would happen in todays world with the advanced medicine and communication available. Of course there are millions of people who prefer to believe in the worst case scenario. Fear is worse than any virus
