Hello, does anyone have a link on decent decals? The original was anodized.. I bought a set from DC and the proportions and shape are completely off.

I’m a bit confused as I figured modern tech could just scan an original and reproduce in a “sticker”

My graphic guy doesn’t want to attempt it..

The other option seems to be evo vmx.. can anyone confirm the decals are the right size and colour for the 84?

Or a suggestion on where to search..

Thanks.

Ordered a set from Zero9 from eBay.. their pic already looked better than the DC version. Will see how they match up compared to the original.

Got my set from zero9mx they are even worse than the DC ones.

This is what they claim on their site:

All Werx Vintage / Evo decals and graphics are painstakingly reproduced, using original or NOS samples to ensure an exact match as near to the original design as possible.

Very disappointing.

Will never buy from there again.

I honestly did not think it would be this difficult to get get the proper decals.. sure the color May be off as the original were anodized on to the swingarm.. but to have such a difference in proportions is ridiculous. Sure most people will ride these bikes, and they don’t really care about perfect proportions.
But what about the people building these things to be perfect and put on display in our man caves?

Shit like this is disappointing.

Correct. You cannot make him drink.

I tried the easy route.

So your guy at “unboundedesigns” can make it perfect?

The guy doesn’t even have a website.
I’ve dealt with freelance graphic guys before.

Well, technically he has a website...but honestly, you'd just have to ask him how perfect he can make those, and he'll definitely give you an honest answer. I'm telling you, the work he has done for me has been incredible, and although my stickers aren't being made to be exact reproductions of original graphics, they are always some sort of odd ball vintage logo and I'm very particular about the small details, colors, outlines, etc. Everything they have done for me I've been more than happy with. You should see some of the 90's Pro-Circuit replica graphics they've done lately, mind blowing neon's, with chrome inlays and etc!! And yes, I too have dealt with some freelance graphics guys and been more than let down by their lackluster attention to detail.

Awesome thank you for the link!

I’ve got a hold of the company that made the decals, they will make it right once I give them the dimensions.

I will look at your link as I have a few other decals I’d like to get made up for the rear fender.

Thanks.
