It's been awhile, but can anyone tell me when anyone other then JS or RC beat him outdoors? (besides MXON)

All I know is last time he raced a National, he finished 3rd overall behind 7 and 4, and beat Alessi, Langston, Short, etc. etc.

Well....all i can say is RV and MA are both bigger and stronger than last season and have a huge fire burning inside both of them right now. I don't know ( or really think) that RV can quite hang with James ( yet ) , but i think he's going to beat Reed. I think MA and even J-law are going to be tough to beat as well. Reed will always be up towards the front , we all know that , but he's gonna have to work his fuggin' ass off for a good finish. It will NOT be easy for him , and he's going to remember why he quit the nationals in the first place......quite a bit more demanding than SX. And again.....Yeah , Reed will do well.....but he better come into this season in shape and ready to ride his friggin' ass off!

yep, and he did sx only that year also! he came from behind in the 2nd moto like it was a joy ride, doing whips mid way though the moto for the fans. i wouldn't doubt him or no one else until next saturday night......Wink

From 2003 - 2006, the period in which Reed raced outdoors, there were only 3 different overall winners in the 250 nationals:

Carmichael
Windham
Stewart.

It was Millsaps @ thunder Valley in 2006 where he went 16-3 on the day, but actually beat Stewart in the second moto.

The following week, he was back in 3rd, but his second moto he had problems and finished 27th.
