If James races, another perfect season is the likely outcome.

Yes, RV can hang... I don't believe that RV would let James mindfuck him like Chad did.

The mind fuck comes with the week after week ass beatings. RV is already like Reed in SX. If Stewart raced the outdoors It would take 2-3 weeks for the denial to go away for RV and he would be just like Mike Alessi last yr. Stewart races on a level non of the current riders will ever reach.

Yes I think that. Easily.

Carmichael spanked him for 3 seasons. If the top guys would stay healthy, stewart couldn't have a perfect season.

There is nothing surprising about that.....It's the few people is dream land that have convinced themselves and a few others, that RV is faster. Stewart will go out there and shut every one up like usual.

Was RV on a 450 at the des nations?

Didn't think so..

IF you would take the time to read what I wrote, you'd see that I said I haven't seen RV do anything on a 450 to prove he's any faster than the rest of the factory guys....

And if on the 24th, James races, and RV keeps him honest then yeah I'll talk to you on the 24th.

And if James doesn't race, and RV goes 24 and 0, then I'll give your poitn some credibility.

I hope he does ride. And as far as the title, if anyone tries to turn it into crap, don't stop to smell it, looking is just fine and you will know what it is.

Cool, and IF Villopoto doesn't do some heavy damage in his ROOKIE season on a 450, I will give you a public apology... I'd even offer up a wager, buuut, we still don't know who's racing.

BTW, not sure about your logic on the des nations, he beat the field on a bike with much less horsepower and 1/2 the torque, so, that was an advantage?

And I don't believe James has any "close" competitors at all...but if he does, chances it will be someone racing in America currently.

There is a big difference between a 250f and a 450...Being fast on a 250 doesn't automatically mean someone is going to faster on a 450 right away. It takes time, as an example just look at all the top pros that had really ROUGH rookies years in the big bike class (RC, JS included).

A 250f for the most part is not an advantage .....but.....some guy's/tracks are better suited to a bike you can hold wide open and not worry about throttle control. A PC 250f should not be compared in any way to any other breed anyway.....a PC 250f doesnt know its a 250f Laughing
Lotta guys can light up a small bore like an animal but cant come to terms witha big bike......with that said I dont think Villipoto is one of those guys. I think outdoors where he can twist it with a little more abandon he's gonna rip.

I'll buy that, but, the kid won 2 450 supercross races and got on the box a couple of other times against James and Chad, yet he is known to be more of an outdoor guy.

So, we will see, but I know where my money would go... sayin

Yeah, I think RV has a shot. He showed some great times during the MXDN against RC, and RC beat Stewart outdoors regularly that year. Can RV stay consistently faster than Stew? I'd doubt it. But, I think he has a better chance than anyone, provided his 450 transition works well. If RV gets close enough, it's been historically proven that JS's gets rattled and ends up on the ground.

Another perfect season? Possibly. However, if RV and Reed can be there, at least we'd have guys who have enough speed to regularly get close to Stew and possibly force mistakes.

If you said it, Lenny would be all over your shit. Since it's Guyb, it's no big deal. Double standards are awesome.

You're fuckin' stupid, James didn't even race, and the year he did, he went down picked up in about 8th place, caught, passed , and left RV...

Maybe E Street?

R-town could easily replace some of the current nationals. It gets rented out quite often and for good reason.
Maybe Honey Lake?

RV's bike doesn't have a throttle, just an on/off switch...

Okay, here's something I was thinking of last night...

Who knows what Ryan was testing yesterday? Test days are just that...testing. Race days are racing.

If James lines up at GH? That'll be fun to watch.

GH did seem a bit smoother than usual last season, but even on a "smooth" day there, you've got an insane amount of big jumps, and enough huge uphills and downhills that I'm sure you'll feel that one for a few days afterwards.

One final thing. The posting style here over the last day or two reminded me that I need to sticky the posting rules up on top of the Moto-Related page again. Some of you are slipping...
