Cody Webb done with Redbull KTM.. Hard Enduro/off road

I believe it was based on the lack of support doing Extreme events and dealing with the Team manager at KTM from what I heard.

Smart move, more money in Extreme than Endurocross these days I'd think.

Can race essentially year round doing extreme if you want.

Cody Webb was amazing on The Stilwell built Beta. Would be great to see Cody race the 300 2 stroke Sherco.

He's signed with Sherco USA. Extreme races and Endurocross, maybe some international races, at least Erzberg.

Makes sense because KTM/Husky have massive team doing international race so they had them covered.

The new Sherco SC models look badass. Would be cool to see more of them racing.

Cody Webb, Wade Young, Mario Roman, Quinn Wentzel and Ty Trumaine. A formidable lineup for Sherco for world and US Hard Enduro and Super Enduro/Endurocross.

They'll have National Enduros and GNCCs covered as well.

I don't see this working out well. I have my doubts the Sherco 4 Stroke is up to the task of what Stu needs to do to run up front at GNCC.

Time will tell.

Sherco must be bringing the big boy checkbook out! If it’s true about Baylor, he’s a 4x NEPG champion and front runner in the GNCC’s.. it can’t be cheap and these top level guys wouldn’t just sign for the money. They have to believe that Sherco will bring a good team and infrastructure with it. I’m excited to have another powerhouse in the mix!

I disagree. How much money can Stu be making from Tely Energy Racing?

I think it's a paycheck move for sure. I don't blame him.

Word on the street is KTM got wind of Stu signing with Sherco for next year and pulled all support (bikes) a few months ago. He had to buy/borrow bikes for his final GNCC and NEPG races. Sounds like he may have burned a bridge with KTM. Like Connor mentioned also Sherco's 4stks aren't really proven, especially the 450.

Seems like BS from KTM pulling support when under a "contract?". Sherco has a World Title in Enduro's with Matt Phillips aboard the 300 4t, but the bigger ones have seen less action up front.

Sherco appears to have aggressively pursued some of their new riders who were still on other teams, I'm glad that it has worked out to put more competition in the field. Beta also fields a strong effort in GNCC and Enduro and had a good year with Mike Witkowski on the 250, Rachel Gutish in Women's and Cody Barnes on the 125.

Could be BS but if you follow Stu on IG you'll see he borrowed a 350 for the next to last GNCC and he bought a 450 for the OK NEPG round.
