Hey Fellas, I keep hearing about a “Prague” story that DB and a Producer Joe have. They mention if you go back to early shows you can hear it but I’ve yet to find it. Does anyone remember or have an idea of what episode number this story is on? I follow all of their shows (MMS included) so I just feel like I’d be more in tune if I knew that story. Thanks guys!

It's a great story. Only listen now when Vincent or Nick is on. It got way too PC when Blair got on the industry payroll.
Needs to let Joe, Vincent, and Nick run with it.

I miss the fan comments section too.

Main Main show is now one of the only podcasts I listen to now. Used to be Pulp now it’s all DB and Producer Joe for me

The OG podcast has been a bummer since they started the main main show.. Don’t even get excited for it anymore.

I agree, the Main Event moto podcast is lame now. Daniel mostly sits there talking about stuff he knows, but can't say. Nothing but a Feld schlep at this point. I listened to some of the free Main Main stuff and while it's interesting I'm not paying for it when there is a ton of free content out there covering interesting non-moto subjects, and most of it is from hosts who are much better educated than Blair.

I think Daniel Blair is great for our sport. He seems like a knowledgeable guy on various topics (music), and I appreciate the perspective that this gives him when talking moto.

However, I do have to agree that it seems like his effort on the Main Event Moto Podcast has diminished noticeably since the Main Main Show started. Partly I can understand that because the Main Main Show is likely generating more money for him, however, it disappoints me that after Racer X picked up the Main Event Moto podcast that the quality dropped off significantly. Maybe it's just me but in my mind Racer X is the pinnacle of moto reporting and content.

His band is worth checking out for anyone into punk rock. Vincent Blair's story which was shared on a recent episode is worth a listen.

The band isn't bad, punk it ain't punk rock. The show is not as good as it used to be.

I was listening to the last episode last night and it seemed to me that Joe and Daniel have kind of mailed it in. There used to be a lot of excitement, I understand there isn't a race to really talk about, but get a little excited about something guys.

You don't like listening constantly to how overworked DB is?

Just kidding, I did notice a little drop off in the Main Event Moto show. I did sign up for the main main show and it's pretty good. Overall I'm just thankful for the content and a Nor Cal MX guy that speaks well, delivers content and is good for the sport.

Blair is clueless about moto before 2004 and barely now.
A few years ago after a SX team was running Hoosiers for a full season, someone wrote in asking about Hoosier and Blair answered with Never heard of them.

Ralph Shaheen enters chat:

Hoosiers? Sure. Back in 1982, Sammy Swindell won the Marysville 100 Outlaw race on Hoosiers.

Ralph has forgotten more about racing in general before Blair was born than he even knows.

Did I actually read above you gotta pay to listen now?

Does he think people are that stupid? I dunno. Maybe some are.

It's further back than that, probably within the first 15 episodes... worth listening from episode one, that's where the true comedy is. Hobo's homecoming story is also gold

On the most recent Main Event Moto podcast , episode 142 (Webb vs AC92) Daniel Blair is finally pronouncing AC's last name pretty close to correctly (instead "since-uh-rooloo" as he's pronounced it for a couple of years until now).
