Identify these Honda forks please

I have a set of Honda forks that I need more information on, please. Specifically, what year model are these forks?

I want to put them on a 1997 CR500 Honda and am wondering if I need to change the stem/triple trees, or if I can just swap out the fork tubes and go.

Again, what year model are these forks, is my question.

Those are 47mm Showa's from '02 -'05.

I have a 1996 CR500 and did the same thing. The forks were from an 02 CR250 and fit into the triple clamps, a little tight but it worked. Huge improvement even with a spring that is to light. I think the only thing you may run into was the wheel spacer. I thing I had to cut the original down in my lathe.. but I really don't remember.
