Rebuilding this bike with my frien and he says this cyilender is still good just to lightly sand the spots that are raised a little bit and use it. Guy down the street said the same thing and he been working on 2 strokes for over 40 years but I don't know if I trust it

A new cylinder is $399, might as well just buy new instead of messing with replating

Powerseal in PA is cheaper then 300 for a replate and it's WAY better then sleeving.

If it is a 2005 or newer, consider keeping it and spending some money. If, if it is 2005+, and you WANT to keep it consider replacing the Cylinder with an ESR 325.

If it is older just put a new Piston in it and have some fun.

You'll pay about $230 to have PowerSeal re-plate it and ship it back to you (I've had multiple jugs done over the years, including some YZ250s).
They list their price at $199 to strip/plate/hone: http://www.powersealusa.com/prices/

Welding repairs are extra, but you won't need any on that cylinder as it's just touched the aluminum.

I'm not affiliated with them in any way (I pay full price).
They do excellent work so I recommend them.

I die a little inside every time someone sleeves a two-stroke cylinder. Get that sucker plated.
