Found a 2008 Rm 250, wanted to do a full rebuild.
It's almost complete now, but I've taken it down to the frame powder coated black. Soda blated then entire engine and all the bolts. Complete engine rebuild, replaced every bearing and seal, wiseco engine rebuild. Got the clutch side cerakoted bronze, Hinson clutch setup and cover. 8oz stealthy fly wheel weigh, lectern carb, boysend rad valve and ignition cover, custom dubya rims, gallery wave rotors, and metal break lines, also got the calipers cerakoted too. Custom suspension done by sgb racing DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM, also hes under JWB performance now, DO NOT DEAL WITH, Renthal bars chain and sprockets. Hydrodipped frame guards. Light speed chain guide and rear break guard.
Also yes I've got two 08 Rm 250s

did you get 450 outer fork tubes? the stock RM ones used that plastic guide/clamp thing and these have a metal wear ring like the 450 forks.

How do you like the Polisport plastic vs the aluminum tank and RMZ shrouds? I was contemplating going with the Polisport stuff instead. I am not sure if I like how the aluminum tank fits/feels compared to the original tank. It may grow on me though.

Riding wise no difference
The aluminum tank is finicky to get on due to being hand made, shrouds are weird too. Also they leave a space between them and the tank, I just put some sticky foam and problem solved
