Qualifies 25th.

Moto 1 he’s been 30th the entire time.

Moto 2 25th up to 13th ?

He just might of salvaged the day if he can hang on for 15th or better...annnd he’s back to 20th just like that ?

Edit: Moto 2

Side note; Lawrence, who was ran over earlier in the moto, charging from 16th to pass Critain’s Craig for 12th. And Craig thinks he’s slept on and hungry? Hahaha please. And what do Craig and Covington both uniquely have in common? Nepotism.

Craig hasn't raced in almost a year, to me his result is a good place to build from. If he can stay healthy he will holeshot a few moto's and lead some laps. Hopefully Covington has something else going on, the move back has not gone well.

The point is, throw in watanabe, tomita and that’s 4 factory rides that should go to more deserving prospects. We aren’t getting the true privateers exposed to getting good rides when factory’s are perfectly content with mediocre riders like the aforementioned BUMS. Vote what I’m saying down but results don’t lie so I don’t get the salty logic.

That’s obviously what I was referring to. Do you really need someone to connect the dots for you too? Big wigs in the industry pay for undeserving slouches to stink up the amateur to pro ladder in this sport all the time, I’m just pointing out actual examples of it?‍♂️ We should be moving up the best of the best.

Who exactly would you put in those spots? Both of these guys have shown they have race winning speed whether that be in this series or the GP's.

Money is exchanged from Monster to Husky, if it’s in his dads account or the Monster account I can’t tell you. Covington being on a monster team would reek to much like bias so they have to find a workaround. My eyes know that a factory bike could get a legit US pro in the top 15 all day. Tom isn’t in that range.

So the monster exec is paying for his son to ride for rockstar husky? That's what you're actually saying? Lmao I've read some retarded shit here but that takes the cake.

Was basically my other point. US is stacked. And who is more deserving!?! Lol every one the riders between big air and the top 15 who isn’t on a factory bike. I’m not literally going to name actual riders and drag them into this shitpile. If you pay attention to the sport there are at least 20 guys per class that never get a shot, people who actually consistently score points outdoors. Alldrege is on a stock pile of shit I know that, qualifying inside top 20. So many people you could go on and on and on.

Keep trying to impede on others with zero logic. Daddy Warbucks is the energy drink company...when you’re within reach of a pro career riding dirt bikes, you start to squirm for those lil bit extras like factory bike and salary.

I said “I don’t know” so no. It was more of just a working theory for why he’s so terrible. They’re would appear some favoritism to him has also been given when they signed him to a multi year deal. Surely nothing to do with anything else besides his merit, right? Why would they do that without at least seeing how the transition is going then decide later? Take your tin foil hat and shove it up your faggoty ass.

He's won and beat riders that lay waste to our guys year after year. Something is up. Our guys are nowhere near that fast.

To be fair to Tom, he is up to 15th with 15min to go, from 25th.

Edit: 5min to go... fell back to 20th.

To be fair, 15th sux for a factory rider after the first moto disaster. Then factor in the SX embarrassment and you have a guy that went from the MXdN team and doing pretty well at GPs to mockery in forums, if the guy isnt shot psychologically, then he has to be close. If it is physical, then maybe a proper recovery is in order.

Oh no, I know that. Zane Merrett finished 25th, one spot in front of Tom, on a way slower bike with cone valves off the shelf, in his very first pro race.

Just for the record Tom got a 29-24 for 26th.

And for a little comparison

Masterpool 14th. Debut
Drake 16th. Debut
Bailey 18th.
Auberson 19th. Not factory

There’s more but that’s all I care to sit and type out at the moment...

Yes the point of the thread is he needs to be finishing better than all of these guys. Shut him down and get surgery on the wrist if that’s what it takes FFS

You see any of the races Thomas did in mx2 ? He's well capable of running towards the front. Obviously something is up with him. Wasted his knee in SX , doubt he had it fixed and probably struggled to get any bike or gym time. Hopefully what ever is bothering him gets addressed.

Just for the record, your posting history suggests you're obsessed by Covington.

Talk about kicking a dude over and over, when he's down. Did he bang your lass or something?

A cursory search of MY posting history will reveal I have only addressed my own sentiments, spareingly, in this one thread. You obviously saw what the other guy said in the other post and just thought that it was the same person. STFU and look closely at everything I’VE said... ST ANN WHORE dumbass no one was even talking to you.

Not totally sure on the OPs posting history, nor do I care really...but Covington really has stunk it up bad since being back stateside, that much cannot be denied. How much longer will the team let this go on without addressing the issues that are there, as clearly there are some. He was pretty impressive in the GPs and know his way around the track, new surroundings isn't a reasonable excuse as a factory guy. Hate to see the guy become a parody as he is better than that.
