A tip of the cap to GuyB for the KC interview.

The Chisholm incident was unfortunate and I'm certain Kyle would take it back if he could, but let's not forget what a spectacular race it was. Stewart's combination on the short side rhythm section left me stupefied and when Reed effortlessly followed suit, I nearly dropped my drink. I have nothing but respect for both of these guys. Don't let the KC controversy get in the way of appreciating one of the greatest races of the modern era.

Chad clipped my handlebar ?

Kyle is a very young rider for the 450 class and he made a bonehead mistake wanting to help his friend and team mate James.

End of story
chisler is a very smart rider and knows who he lives next to. can't literally fault him can ya?

Every one is talking about the attempted dive bomb, but if you watch the video from this angle, you can really see Chisholm's intent. It begins on 1:47. You can see Kyle stop wait for James, speed up to force Chad wide and then go for the t-bone. Reed was slowed up even before the corner because he was forced wide. There also wasn't anyone around Chisholm that would have passed him if he slowed up another .5 seconds to let Chad by. So I don't really believe a word of what he said.

I believe him... Its not like he took Chad out shit. Look at the video; its evident that he didnt want to hit Chad at all his breaks were locked up in a panic. Reed didnt give a shit about taking Bubba out so why should Chisolm feel bad about barely hitting Reed? I bet that lit a fire under Chisolm saying what he did on the podium.

That angle did look a bit different. Its amazing what camera angles can do.

I still would have said it was a mistake and it wasn't intentional if I was him.

Oh well, there are lot of "could'ves" here but what did happen wasn't that bad. Personally, I agree with the FIM/AMA judgement on this one. They've been on Chads ass a little bit, and I think its right to show that they will drop the hammer down for dirty shit (even if it was 100% unintentional.) It doesn't get Chad a win, but reallistically, not many of us think it would've made a difference.

No shit eddie? you took that out of context... I was saying it was obviosly an accident so Chisolm shouldnt feel bad about it. And people shouldnt be assuming it was a teammate move, because no one really knows.

Reed said it best. Kyle Chisholm? who's that guy?

Kyle clearly knew the leaders were coming, let James by, Reed also went past him, and he ran up into Reed on purpose. That angle showed the true intent.

You can clearly see there is one of the three that RC is coaching regarding how to behave on the podium.

I have to wonder what Chad's post race mic time would have been a couple of years back. For the heat of the moment, he handled that pretty well no matter who's fault anything was or wasn't.

One thing no one has mentioned yet is he did the same thing in Seattle to RV. While being lapped he was blocking RV for several corners when James was trying to catch him. I don't think it was on the TV, but was pointed out by everyone that was at the race. Not different colored glasses, the same ones I need to see everything. I haven't chosen a favorite between CR or JS, but I definately have a least favorite team.Sad

I didn't get to see the race, but after seeing that video, I can see how Chisolm running it in on james could have been an accident. I do think he was trying to fuck him up a bit though, once stewart got by going into that rythm section, he gassed it trying to stay next to chad. I think he was just trying to maybe hold him up a bit, not trying to t-bone him, you can see he got a little out of control, but he shouldn't have been that close to Reed trying to pull something like that.

So what if he was blocking Reed? That's part of it. Happens in other forms of racing
every sunday and they don't fuss. Trying to take someone out though is another story.
I'm a Josh grant fan so I don't really care who wins between Reed and Stewart.
I'm not like a lot of people on here thinking the racing is great. It is amazing how fast those two are but unless they wreck one of them wins every race. I miss the old old old days win 5-8 guys could win. I'm ready for the Nat's too.........

Our family noted that and agrees with you. Chad IS doing much better interviews this season (more rational or at least better trained??).
