I just read that entire thread & had to leave the room so I would not wake the wife up from laughing so hard! That was as good or better than the boot sniffer dude from the U.K. Brody pipe, god you guys crack me up!!!

Little buffing made the radiators pop, got some carbon pieces in today.. still waiting on the rear brake disc guard from Lightspeed.. ordered the ‘99 YOT graphics in all black (white accents) with black period seat cover for my Rtech Revolution kit— while they’ll be done in 2 weeks, there hasn’t been a Black revo replacement plastic kit in the states in months.. hoping they’re back in stock over the next few weeks— I’ll post the graphics proof once I receive it from throttle syndicate— cheers!

Ehh actually I didn’t go with a fender swingarm or forkguard kit— wanted to keep it as clean looking as possible haha

Damn those graphics are gonna be sweet.

DPR makes a good exhaust. Fitment is most of the time a little off like you allready know but they perform pretty good.
Piet is a awesome guy.

A friend of my father (ex GP Rider) Told me Piet actually taught Mitch Payton how to make a pipe and Mitch wanted Piet to move to the USA to help start Pro Circuit.
Cant confirm if it is true or not but i dont believe this friend of my father would lie about something like that. Always liked that story.


PPS makes a Nice cone pipe aswell. They use a few more pieces so it looks a little rounder.

I never compared the DPR and the PPS so i cant comment on that. The PPS is for a yz125 i am building now. From what i have been Told its not that great. But i a gonna compare it with a HGS, Messico and VH. See what Works best.

A few years back i had a Ktm 250 and i did have a DPR and a HGS pipe. I liked the DPR better because it gave the bike a little more bottom end and the power was more spread out. The HGS gave it more top but that was not what i was looking for with that bike.

You can get the scotchbrite pads much cheaper off eBay if you look. 8" or 6" FN of VFN will work. Get a bunch they wear out fast! 6 or so will get you through a whole bike. Harbor freight sells the buffer for about $50 and a stand for $30. Trust me I've done it both ways, the buffer is worth it. And then there are small dremel bits on amazon you can get a bunch for $10 works for the tight areas.

Damnn that looks purty!! Was that using all the different grade heads? Mine ain’t that dirty thank god lol

That was only 2 stage, roughest to get the dirt off and lightest to smooth. A few areas we didn't even change and it doesn't really make much difference. scotchbrite doesn't have that drastic difference like sand paper because it's soft enough to give

For the first time I got a factory finish pipe for my bike. I looked in to hi temp clear coat and clear powder coat to get around having to scrub and wd40 it after every ride. But I have heard that people say those two options will chip or once they get heated up they become tacky and dirt will stick to it.

So I’m curious if you have experience with how this hi temp cerakote holds up, or if it has those issues as well?

Start it n ran it for 5 minutes with no issues whatsoever, but will have to waif til next weekend to see how it holds up!
