Good and Bad

If I had to guess since everyone is being tight lipped right now about his injury. I believe Austin will race the remaining rounds of east coast sx to try and win a title. Hopefully he does. Bad side to this is he will announce right after he will skip outdoors and have knee surgery just like AC did. So who will be the fill in rider at PC this summer?

I doubt PC fills the spot. They have 3 other guys racing.

This Totally Reminds me of when Mike Alessi, was leading
The Points in the 450 Nationals
And hurt his knee and tried to still ride, ironically also in Colorado. It Didn't work out then

The fact that we really haven't heard anything leads me to believe that he's either not racing this weekend or is a game-time decision. Normally he or the team would put something out in the middle of the week saying "looking forward to the weekend" or something like that. So far it's been radio silence which is almost always a bad sign.

West coast this weekend, then an off weekend. He has 2 full weeks left to get ready

Best to keep his competitors wondering if he's going to be there or not.

Good point. I still find it suspect that nobody is saying anything about it

He will try to race for sure. But since no one really knows how bad the injury is we have no way of guessing if he will be able to go fast enough to beat Sexton and/or Cooper.

He looked ok in the second practice last week and landing a little hard did him in. Just like that. Very iffy.

Forkner is not trying to ride in Colorado. It's west coast. He doesn't race again until after the break next weekend.

Edit: Oops, somebody beat me to it.

With the amount of the $ and all that comes with it he will give it ago . Hell he has that coast covered so easy he can be cautious.

I thought Matthes mentioned on Moto 60 show that it was ACL. Wish I could remember who he said told him that.
