So...... I have a leak. I noticed that I do not have a water speparator part number 19222-KA3-760. Look at the picture below. Does it mean there are two versions I’ve the cover and one does not have a separator? I have searched online and I cannot find one.

I ordered a water pimp separator for a 1987 CR125. Partzilla has it in stock. I figured maybe it was close and I could modify it.

Is anyone running their bike without the separator?

That is a great suggestion. Unfortunately none can be found. I even emailed a dealer in Australia who did a search and said there are non in Australia. I will use that idea again though for other parts. Now I guess I need to find someone who has a parts bike.

It is not corroded very much. I was lucky in that respect.

I’m curious if the 87 separator fit the 86?

I did find one. A forum member on Thumpertalk found one in his stack of parts.

Thanks, I’ll keep looking. I had a chance to buy a complete 85 CR125 a few months ago for $800. I should have jumped on it. I’ve got twice that in the basket case I picked up for $100.

85 CR125, but I bought a clutch cover from Russell Brown that was machined for 86.

I searched everywhere for my separator. Your best bet is to find someone in here or on Facebook market place who is parting a bike out. The guy that had my bike before me ran it for years without one. He never knew it was missing.

I will. In the meantime I’ve got plenty to do on this bike. Today I’m tearing down the shocks and rear suspension and replacing seals and bushings. I’m also going to try my hand at refurbishing the oxidized plastic.

I have to refinish my tank. The fenders are cheap to replace and UFO plastic looks great.
