I am a vet beginner who just started riding a few years ago. I have had pacemaker for almost 9 years. i wear full chest protector and neck brace. I have no concerns about riding/racing with pacemaker.

I have a buddy that does, carries some meds in a fanny pack when he rides.

Older guy in his 50s and he absolutely rips.

Can you adjust it to Sport Mode via an app on your phone?

Forgive my ignorance on the subject, but other than the heart itself, is there a risk of impact with the pacemaker that could be a concern?

you don't have a heart, you don't need a pacemaker

I have had a Defibulator/Pacemaker for 5 years. 5 heart surgery’s in 5 years. The only time I don’t ride is when I’m on blood thinners. I’m 56

Yes, I wear a chest protector now that covers it. There is no risk of the wires dislodging from the heart unless you ride before the wires have grown into the heart, which takes a good 3 months.

Respect for some old guys out there still hauling ass. It is a very humbling feeling when you are 32 and get passed by a 60+ year old, which makes me want to reevaluate my generation

My wife has a pacemaker with the built in defibrillator. She is 64 and trail rides a Honda Cr 150. She was warned not to get too close to the spark plug area while running.
