Tommy and Tyla have to be on the podium or close to it. They've been focusing and testing for the outdoors for the last 5 months now! They must dying to compete! They should have some sort of edge on the others at least for the first few races while the others get back to full outdoor mode.

Can't wait for SX to be over and real motocross to start!

Thats my feeling too......the fact that they have been doing outdoor testing for so long now has got to be a big plus.
The small bore class is so stacked this year its crazy.

Damn, I envy you guys for being able to watch this. I have seen them all, but this time it's special, and it's so damn much more spicy with the yanks present.

1. Rattray
2. Pourcel (is more talented, but not enough practice)
3. Dungey
4. Stroupe
5. Searle

I'm probably guessing totally wrong here. Would be interesting to hear what Hamblin things about the outcome. He knows this shit better than any of us?

Don't underestimate the powers of professional prognosticators, Dr. Sweden. On your 1-5 prediction, I personally think (and I admit to my bias) that you have underestimated Dungey. Remember the end of last year's nationals.

I personally saw him beat Villopoto at Washougal last year also. Not many in the world did that (including MXDN). I also watched him hang with the Viilo/Townley duo several times during the 07 Nationals. I do agree that the 250 class outdoors this year will be intense, to say the least. Here's a pic GuyB took at Washougal--I'm the flagger.

I am willing to bet that Barica gets the holeshot and leads more than 1/2 the race.

What would he(SH) know, he only rides. I saw Searle the other day and he is fast and smooth from what I saw. Pourcel as usual doing his thing. It will be interesting for sure, I think Ake Johnnson(sp) has it in the bag.

2. Stroupe
3. Rattray
4. Dungey

Hey, I know shit. Any guess any guess is as good as mine. I probably have underestimated Dungey. The more competition the merrier!

Don't feel embarrassed about your bias. I want Pourcel to win badly! Smile

Well, soon we will have some indication about the outcome!

You can read exactly what Hamblin thinks of Searle's chances...

you guys are all so quick to count out guys like Trey Canard,Brett Metcalfe! Blake Wharton, Nico Izzi, Brock Tickle, Matt Lemoine, Weimer, And Morais.. all of these guys are capable of winning a moto this summer. there will not be one or two guys dominating.. it will be an all out battle.

with rattray, pourcel, barcia, dungey, stroupe and the guys listed above its going be to a hell of a summer.

I'm putting my money on Dungey. Any takers for a small friendly bet?

Are you smoking crack?

I'm really stoked to see Searle ride this year.

Though Dungey, Treynard and Wharton will run up front as well.

Nope. Didn't Villopoto get a shitty holeshot the time when he got beat by Dungey? or goggles lens or something?
