I think that first guy waving the yellow should have been waving a red cross. You dont even see the red cross till you get to the crash site.

Dude, Marvin and Coop have jumped every opportunity they could all year regardless of the first, middle or last whoop. They jump because they're not great at skimming and the whoops have broken down.

I'm with ya.. Savatgy and Webb gained a clear advantage over Wilson but was that because they know the rule better or because Wilson didn't need to go that slow?

My question is if Dean goes into the Red Cross flag area ahead of Savatgy and Webb, and the rules state that you are not supposed to jump or accelerate in the incident area (ie no racing). How is it possible that both Savatgy and Webb are able to pass Wilson within a yard or two of leaving the incident area. I don’t think the purpose of the Red Cross flag is to show your “bmx manualing” skills and continue racing in the incident zone.

F1 has it right with the virtual safety car and using telemetry to keep the racers from cheating on the time gaps. Of course, F1 has the means to deal with this.

Maybe it would be better if red cross flag made you roll the entire section instead of just to the place of incident? Atleast it would be easier for race officials to catch those who jump.

This. And I would add that the whoops are breaking down more due to the lack of lime. But due to knee jerk reactions they no longer use it.
