Will 18 model skidplates work on the 19 aftermarket ones
The Cycra skid plate bolts up and is a decent fit, not perfect but good enough to run. The others are different. Carbon fiber one from my 18 would not fit.

Anybody got a fix on how to disengage the clutch without pulling the lever all the way to the bars? Would a longer lever pushrod do it? Just put arc levers on it if you thought the stock lever hit your fingers hard put some arc levers on it ouch

Yeah the bolt hits my finger. I saw on Tomac's bike they use a set screw so it doesn't stick out I've been meaning to get some.

Get the Works Connection full coverage aluminum skid plate. It fits beautifully and has an ignition and water pump guard.

I got the ARC levers with the "flipchip" deal. Between the different flipchip sizes and changing the throw of the lever....you can get it to feel about as custom/ perfect as possible. The flipchip thing pushes against the pushrod and there are various lengths that come with the kit. Motocross Action suggested this so I gave her a try. Very nice because not only can you adjust where the lever completely disengages the clutch....but also the angle of the lever. I hate this bulky shit but the clutch design is a little funky. To get the proper position....I had to put the kill switch behind the clutch fluid reservoir (using Renthal Fatbars….Twinwalls don't have enough "grip" area to fit everything). Once you get it set up......it's good. Pictures to see my setup on request!

Never thought about a set screw, it'll definitely help

I also put a different t screw in mine so it didn’t rub my finger and I took the hole shot button off and disconnected it completely so I could move over the lever a bit more.

I'm thinking of putting some epoxy in the indentation where the pushrod goes on the lever it'll have to help move the engagement point some

Don't see how that would be possible. You would have to machine the case to fit the slave cylinder.

Mine had a very minimal amount of grease on the steering stem bearings and what looked like some oil on the linkage and swing arm bearings. My forks had a decent amount of fluid when i did the seals but didnt measure what came out of them. Someone mentioned that they have a break in fluid that is supposed to get changed at 5 hrs. I have no knowledge on that though.

I kinda lucked out, I guess, and when I checked everything had quite a bit of grease on it. However, it was that thin, white grease. Since I had it all apart anyway, just went ahead and re-greased with the better Kawasaki Hi-performance grease

On another note, was planning to upgrade to aftermarket exhaust soon. Reason: looks, sound, and have a gift card (so out of pocket expense would be minimal). Anyway, took subframe to an excellent fab shop down the street (to get ahead of any possible issue). Before he even he even braced it, he found stress fractures and said it would of failed soon, anyway. And that was with stock system, ~5 hours operating time FYI
