[Maintenance] 2014 yz250f | Chain tensioner not tightening valve chain

My first time opening up the valves. I dont know what possessed me but I thought I could use the kickstart to put the engine in TDC. I forgot that I already removed the chain tensioner and it made a grinding noise. The chain tensioner will not tighten the chain whatsoever now.

Id imagine the chain came off the crank at the bottom or is wedged in the guides.

Could I get a link to a video that might show that? I dont yave much experience inside the motor. I dont wanna mess anything up

Pop the left side cover off the bike and look in. Drain your oil too.
