That's the retail price at the dealer with no aftermarket alternatives

I just replaced the stock battery in my 2013 Husky with this Antigravity one... The weight savings is insane. New one is like 1/3 the weight of the stock one, and has more cranking amps, and was cheaper. Even has this "restart technology" where it basically wont let itself die and leave you stranded.. kinda like turning the petcock to reserve. Think I paid like $106 + shipping?

A battery tender or trickle charger would have helped. Sorry the stock battery is so expensive.

Here we go again... WPS does make a Li-on battery that fits in the 18 battery tray that is FAR cheaper and you can charge it without the fancy charger Honda says you must have. Yes, you could use a 17 tray with a AGM battery if you want. The weight difference IS noticeable on the bike.

The YTX4L-BS will also work. The WPS featherlight battery that should work is part # 490-2500

No, YTX4 is the 2017 battery. 18 battery is much smaller which means the battery tray is too small of the YTX4. You would need the 2017 450RX battery tray to make it work. The 490-2500 is the size of the YTX4 also.

Or just get the WPS Li-ion battery that WILL fit the 18 450R/RX, 250R battery tray. It's part number is a 490-2526 which has a price tag of about $120.

Trust me, I have been through a lot with these stupid HY85S Honda Li-ion batteries in the 2018. I am the service manager at a Honda shop. I have my own 2018 CRF450R, I had a 2017 450R with the e-start kit and a 490-2500 battery. I was going to just put my 17 battery in my 18. No beuno...

I'm using the Antigravity Batteries SC-1 lithium battery. It fits the 2018 CRF battery box.

Oddly, I can’t relate to this issue...I don’t even know where the battery is on this thing...but, it always starts & it “gets good starts”, too!

My apologies. I was going off of PM pro, which said it would fit. I just went to Honda IN, and you are correct, the YTX4L-BS isn't applicable to the 2018.

Ditto on Antigravity. They’re the best lithium battery I have ever used on my street/dirt bikes.

I have a Shorai lithium battery in my Husky and it won’t start either. I’ve been out of the country, so the bike has just got cold sitting in my garage.

Is it as easy as getting a battery tender and charging it?
