STINK!!!!! My God they're awful. I never wanted to get in on this conversation but after re watching San Diego a few minutes ago while perfectly coherent and not falling asleep I realized how bad they really are. Mindlessly droning on about everything but the actual action on the track I can't take it!

Thank you for starting this thread. The coverage of supercross, including Ralph and Ricky, is at it's all-time low. They virtually miss every important event in the mains. Half the time Ricky doesn't know what to say and Ralph is always talking about someone getting it up the rear. Makes the sport look bad.

I'm serious. I never wanted to bash these guys because I know it's not easy but Ralph is preoccupied with telling us about the upcoming "roll off feature" and Ricky stumbles in mid sentence repeatedly meanwhile Kyle freaking Chilsolm is repassing Eli Tomac. Arghhh!

Exactly. This needs to be discussed. All of your forum losers can bite me. Attention needs to be brought to the broadcasters that they are doing a terrible job. People don't want Ralph and Ricky and we need a more organized T.V. event. Period. Only way to get attention is to keep bringing it up.

They have a tough job and I think they are doing just fine. Keep in mind the production team is always yelling in their ear pieces, so imagine trying to focus on a smooth delivery while someone is talking to you in your ear. They also have monitors in their face with stats to concentrate on.

IMO, Ricky is getting a lot better. He seems more energetic and focused on using proper grammar and I'm sure he'll just keep improving.

No one is perfect, and this job is not easy guys. It's live television.

The way I see it, it wasnt their fault the camera didnt show kenny and marv battling to the line. They arent being set up properly by people working behind the scenes to make this happen. They need someone involved in the production team with a keen eye for on track action who knows what they are watching and what to look for. They could have anticipated the kenny marv battle a mile away looking at pace and position yet failed to see it completely. I dont blame ralph and ricky as much as people behind the scenes there to keep ralph and ricky 100% on point.

I like them both but do think they aren't flowing well together, as expected for anyone new at anything, but this week Ricky seemed to resort to yelling to get more excitement in his voice. I really enjoyed RV in the booth for the LCQ's though. RV!!!!!!!!

Ultimate booth combo would be Daniel Blair and Weege. With Villopoto on the floor. Villopoto did better than ole Rick did... the man said HYTHE instead of height lol

Yes he is. But the guys running the cameras need some training. Missing a lot. It's bad when I am staring at the leader board, and not the racing, or when I hear the crowd go crazy and I know I just missed something
