Well Webb isn’t shitting himself about seeing Jeffery at a Supercross round either.

CW2 vs Coldenhoff?

He might as well set his sights for the top and go after the FMOTP...

This whole Herlings can’t ride supercross this is so dumb. Put them head to head 10 outdoors and 10 supercross and compare their overall race times and I think you will see Herlings take the win. He hasn’t made a career of trying to do supercross but if he had to, he’d catch up. Just look at the top 6 in both classes of America’s national supercross championship, few European riders names in there.

Herlings said himself hes trash in the whoops. It takes a lifetime, Marv still barely is figuring it out, but hes improving. I cant remember the exact interview but he said their dirt just doesnt allow sx practice, he wanted to do it but just couldnt get the experience. He said you have to go south to France to get the right type of dirt thats why you see great french sx riders.

Tell me how many of these a human body can sustain without massive injury...

Cooper beats Herings at supercross and Herlings beats Cooper at motocross.

Webb would lap Herlings in every SX race.

Incredible, Webb was promoted to the FMOTP level because of 1 SX win, and is now ready to stomp Jeffrey Herlings, World Champ, who had just recently dethroned the 9 Time World Champ. How cool is that?

OP, seriously, just pass the damn joint.

Some1 gets it. He wont be FMOTP until Coldenhoff is dethroned tho since a single race now counts more than entire careers worth of results, championships, and wipe out any previous wins against the same riders...

Like Roczen was lapped in every single one of his supercross races his first year?

Don’t forget James Stewart, he is still fastest. He is making a comeback. Stamp it

Your asking Webb vs Herlings right now(not broken foot Herlings). Webb would lap him every race unless you think Herlings is a top 14 SX rider right off the bat. Roczen excelled at SX almost right away and it was evident in the GPs he had better timing maybe due to him starting the year in SX. Herlings said the whoops scared him. Good luck competing against Webb if your not willing to push it in the whoops. Look at Musquin he would have twice the wins if he could hit whoops like his peers. I think it’s a dumb comparison but you started it and I played along. SX would be way to foreign to Herlings or anyone racing the GPs currently compared to Webb. Paulin is probably the only one who could qualify for a 450 SX race in a stacked field.

I didn't start it, its a thread about it so I added to it. I just said, give them both platforms to compete on and I don't think Herlings is at that much of a disadvantage as people think based purely on supercross.

Webb wouldn't touch current (pre foot) form herlings on a motocross track, like no one really can.

The idiot that made this Post, is the same idiot who compared Cooper Webb to Carmichael before Oakland's gate drop..

What a joke. Kid isn't even close to Carmichael, let alone Herlings. He was faster at Charlotte, on a 250, in America, on a fair race style track, for 1 race. Not a championship circuit, overseas, on alien soil, eating different food than you're used to, on a different bike than back home, and on a rough track that get minimal grooming compared to the US tracks..

Herlings is better than top 14. Who said he's not willing to push it it the whoops?

Why is Herlings always dragged into these supercross discussions.

You shouldn't try to statistically compare 2 riders from 2 totally different championships. Too many variables (in motocross especially)

Both are riders that can rip, which is awesome to watch!

To be honest that sx track looks like a beginner sx track that ac or forkner practiced on on superminis. No big triple, no dragon back, no long rythm, and most importantly herlings hasnt shown up to a supercross to prove hes better. Every pro looks fast on a track by themselves. Ill give him credit tho, for someone who doesnt do it full time, hes not bad.

So you think Herlings can beat Justin Hill at SX?

If anyone thinks that JH84 couldn't be a top-shelf SX rider very quickly, you're fooling yourselves. I give you Roczen, Musquin, Reed, Langston, DV, Pichon, Bayle..

Reedy raced plenty of Supercross here before going overseas, we had an outdoor series, usually at speedways, and an indoor series which was more like arenacross.

Edit: And no amatuer day either, 80's, Junior 125's, and C grade all on the same track and day/night.
