Muffler- Slip-On Fmf 4.1 2018 ktm 350 sxf should I do a remap?

Would you get less life out of your engine with a remap?
I’m at 65 hrs on my 350 and don’t think I’m anywhere near a rebuild.
But seems long for some people on here.
Would you do a revbuild on an engine sooner after a remap.

I don't think it's necessary with just a slip on. I have them on my bikes but more because I like how they look and sound, and they're slightly lighter. I don't think a slip on does much of anything for performance.

For a slip on u dont need to map it. KTM would tell u to map if you have a 450 but 250/350 supposedly dont require remap. Cut your backfire screen out and make sure your tps is set right and it will rip

Don't tell me you replaced that one piece header that KTM put on that bike? Why would one do such a thing?

It's so joyful to have to unbolt the shock and move it to the side then wiggle and jiggle till you can slide that header off. BRILLIANT design work on the part of KTM. And don't forget to leave the shock lose so you can do the reverse when you want to put the header back on.

But, sadly, you now have two parts to that header with the FMF one so you get to skip this joyous experience. Too bad.... (

Unless your a pro or expert, your probley good for at least 100 hrs, as long as you perform proper maintenance

I need to buy a slip on simply for the Spark Arrestor..

I have an 18’ FC350, no need to remap?

I’ve never remapped a bike for adding a pipe......it’s not gonna blow up.
