Factory Contingency

I know Kawasaki put the money on a card that can be used for what ever you want. Yamaha has to be used at a dealer for stock parts. Does anyone know about Honda, Suzuki and KTM.

When I raced Yamaha in 2016 the Blucru card was a regular debt card that could be used anywhere that accepted Visa.

With Ktm, it was a pain in the ass. Mainly due to the fact that my dealer is terrible. Both myself and my dealer had to create an online account, athlought not totally straight forward I was able to figure my account part out with a phone call to Ktm and them walking me through it. My dealer however took a month to figure out how to set themselves up to be paid back by Ktm and they wouldn’t allow me to use my points to buy anything until they figured their part out. Total pain in the ass and woulda be so much nicer to just have a debit card mailed to me.

I did get a brand new carbon fiber 6D helmet though, $800 for one race. I was stoked!!

KTM has been the easiest that I have dealt with. Results get uploaded then KTM puts the money on your account which can be used at any KTM dealer on whatever they sell. Pros get a Visa debit card that can be used anywhere. Honda uses a debit card and instructions were simple but I never got any payments for my races and trying to contact them about it is close to impossible.
