Looks pretty damned cool. I like the matte black on the hubs. Different.

As I said earlier, I like the look of your bike. And as for orders on the trick stand I will take 2. Do they come in red. I want to match my Honda. And thanks for the side view.

Have a brand new Renthal chain (thank you Renthal for the sprockets, bars, and chain!) but my chain cutter is MIA. I raced this bike three weeks ago (Fox suspension works better than anything I've ever ridden) with the stock plastic and seat but am now just getting it ready for the studio shots and some last minute tuning.

fcr-appreciate the positive feedback.....BTW, I am getting my paint brush and my red paint ready first thing in the AM....LOL

BTW, I tweaked my shoulder five turns from the end of the second moto at REM today (drilling yourself into the ground has a way of doing that) and this evening was the only time I had a resource to pull the bike out of the garage for these pics hence the absence of a chain. The way I feel right now it will be a few weeks before I can even load the bike in my van much less race it.

My stand is out in Corona too but at least I got some shots of it to share.....

I thought you were kidding about the stand. You have two cinderblocks there. Are you actually making a stand (not the cinderblocks) ? DOH ! just saw the answer in the middle of the paragraphs.

Anyone can put wheels together. I don't see what the fuss is. the stand on the other hand takes the skill of a craftsman.
I want a stand like that but in a sidestand version with no lead in case my son try's to eat it.

Heck with the rims and hubs. How are the tubliss systems working?Been thinking about biting the bullet and getting them for a while.Read the MXA review on them but noting besides that.

Buddy just bought this by, changed over his CRF450, and we were waiting for these...

New Excel A60, with new "Rad" hubs and spokes, with the new Dunlop MX51...

Before..

Almost after..

I've never been able to convince myself to spend money on aftermarket rims, hubs, and graphics kits...

Maybe I'm just too poor or something, but I'd rather spend money on aftermarket goodies that actually make the bike faster/better.

(even if I've completely trashed my plastics and/or graphics I'll buy OEM replica graphics for my bikes rather than go with an aftermarket graphics kit).

Not that there is anything wrong with spending money on graphics and rims/hubs...and if I had the extra $$$ I'd probably have a "sick" looking bike too.

And yours does look good....I'll give you that...good job.

Looks nice. Im not sure about the matte finish on the hubs. Matte tends to hold dirt. Clean they look very very nice.

Overall it looks great.

Trying to add a second set of wheels for racing.

I was always a fan of no graphics.....and white plastics. Anonymising (?) the bike the best I could Smile

Troy Cardiel over at TCR does some awesome work. I see the guy on a weekly basis out at the track doing tires and wheels for people. Really cool guy. If you ever go to a national he will be working under the Bridgestone tent. Go say hi.

Titan, I'm with you on the rims. Its like putting 22's on a Camry WTF for. Maybe if I had money to burn. To each to his own I guess they do look cool.

No, That's my buddy's bike he spends money on his, I'm like you, I'll order new shrouds I'll order from "Service Honda", and the come with the OEM graphics, nothing shitter looking than a peeling graphics kit. The only way I'd buy after market wheels is if it were the last bike I'm going to buy.. Here's his 85..

Man some of the 85's out there look awesome, i remember all my KX 85 had were the custom numbers, and there were kids in my class with their whole frame, swingarm, even the muffler anodized blue. Those bikes were nice...

You know me only too well, DrSweden! This bad boy is 92 decibels with the smallest insert and very close to 94 (actual 94 not the 95.9 that meets the 94 level) with the larger rev tube.

I appreciate everyone's comments on the bike....this Stealth Pro project has gone a thousand percent smoother than the Stealth project did....what a difference starting off with a fresh mount makes.

Big Lenny-nice rear wheel...the Dunlop MX51s are way trick too

Keep up the good work. I hearing less sound is becoming more popular. If GP guys are doing it, we lemmings will follow lead. No one likes a big mouth anyway! Smile

I think that is the best looking Yamaha I've seen yet... super clean. Love the fact that it's not Blue, lol.
