Taken from Racer X:
Jason Lawrence continued his bi-polar ways last weekend. I’m not talking about him loaning a bike to Tyler Wharton (good) then punting Broc Hepler and pulling off the track (bad). Apparently Jason cut down sections of the fence at the Honda test track and has been jumping over and riding the track when nobody is there (bad). When he was approached about it by Erik Kehoe he handed him $1,000 cash and told him it was for track maintenance (good, I guess?). The Jason Lawrence Show continues.

Though I'm not his agent, at 1 time I had
a hand in the whole "J-Law" dealings of sorts
& I tried to pitch him in "Big Red's" corner.
For me, at times when running a program, you
find that "diamond in the ruff" & that's "Jason!"
Again, for me, we hit it off, then I was out!
At the time, "Red" was nervous about him.
I said, "take a chance"..."the kids awesome on
2 wheels". I also compared him to Yamaha's Anthony
Gobert, an awesome talent on a roadracer, but with similar
off track antics. "No" they said at the time, but look now.
"Reds" barley worth the price of admission. Sad!
Many times the chance you take is the reward you get!
"YOT" got a title as I recall............the end just may justify
the means......
Dave O.
You sir are no longer employable in the MX industry due to this exact mindset.
Integrity and respect mean more than titles in this world. Honda knows this and that is why they sell more bikes than any other mcf. What wins on Saturday means jack shit in the real world.
And last time I checked YOT has yet to win a real "title" other than a little 7 race series that totaled less than 2 hours in actual race time. And that was last year. Ancient history.
Every time I watch the TGO vid with you chastising your employee I get a better picture of who you truely are. Passion is one thing. Human dignity is another.
Jason is awesome but he needs a coming to jesus moment if he wants to have a career in this sport.
Honda just kicked his ass to the curb. One down 4 to go.
..................................get a clue dude.
Anthony Gobert? Last time I read about that guy he was mugging old ladies in the park. Stories like breaking boundries to ride on a track are funny and they show personalitiy, but others do make it not worth the risk. To me this story is pretty cool because its so different and relativily harmless, its the other, more escilated ones that concern people.
Andrew Short or Jason "Am I eligible for parole?" Lawrence
Short:
1. Is as fast as Lawrence about 98% of the time
2. Take his training seriously
3. Gets along with his teammates
4. Makes his brand look good
5. Is great for the sport
6. Has no arrest record
7. Races hard but clean
8. Actually finished his education
No contest. No wonder Honda doesn't want to touch him with a 10 foot pole. Oh, and don't even try the "Jason is so EXCITING bullshit" either. He's bad news, end of story.
"news"....LMFAO

I think you are wrong here buddy. Has nothing to do with integrity and respect. Everything to do with quality and workmanship via manufacturing materials and methods.
Jason needs "a coming to Jesus moment", and all the delusion faith that comes along with it.
That way he will have horrible concept of hell as a powerful club on his mind, it will frighten him, terrorize him into a straight and narrow path.
Unless it happens soon, he will not have a career in this sport.
::sarcasm alert::
Wrong.
Oh boy.
