Oh wow that's great!

Always sucks when these kids have a bit of bad luck and it just ends... I know nothing is ever promised but cool he's found a way to make it happen, hopefully some more opportunities come around.

Isnt the the JCR team a pseudo-factory team?
Yes. Since 2008, JCR has been contracted with American Honda to race and promote Honda CRF motorcycles. The contracted race series do change occasionally- depending on media coverage, enthusiast participation and which CRF model needs promotion.

From what I’ve heard Dalton will still be getting some support from Husky, but not on factory team.

Back to original topic. I’ll admit I thought putting Zach on the trophy team was a bad idea. EX-Motocrosser that crashed a lot, fast GP racer, ISDE rookie didn’t seem like a good combo to me. Glad I was wrong. He put in a solid ride! I think much higher of his abilities now.

I feel like both WORCS and Big 6 are trying to become the premier series, worcs is offering up bigger pro purses and big 6 just became the AMA National GP Series. Nhha is a completely different animal than those two, and different riders competing for the most part.
Bitd has really fun races but it’s more of a secondary series/adventure type of racing. The exposure/competition isn’t really there. I won the Open Pro championship last year and nobody really cares, except for Vegas to Reno, that race still gets some coverage.

Big 6 and WORCS are basically the same. Prepped and watered 8 mile GP courses, more or less. One is AMA, one isnt and I think thats really the big difference. Kind of like Ford vs Chevy. A lot of people do both.

NHHA is a whole different animal. I feel that the NHHA series doesnt get the recognition is deserves, neither do its racers. 80-100 mile's long of legit off road terrain, and never seen until you're racing through it. Its nothing short of amazing. Nothing else like it in the states. Its also the oldest and longest running national offroad series in the US.

I'd love to see Honda and Yamaha factories come back-now that they are both selling off road race bikes-and give KTM a run for their money. The once mightly Kawi-team green-program should come back too.

All my opinion and personal preference...and I realize its a dollars and cents thing to the manufactures...and there just isn't much R.O.I. to be found in the middle of the desert-even though that is where some of the purest heart, soul and passion of dirt bike racing can be found Sunday afternoons-so this is all maybe just a pipe dream.
Totally agree on the Hare & Hounds; even Sutherlin (who won the series last year) said that the speeds totally scared the crap out of him.

My bro (just getting back into the sport) watched some Caselli videos and simply could not believe how fast Kurt was going. I've been passed by Taylor Robert during a race, and was thinking maybe I should take up another hobby...lol. Those guys are legit....

So most likely Precision Concepts, unless Babbitts puts together something for the west coast as well

Babbitts has Strang for GNCC, not sure who else yet.

Off-road racing is hard to find rides. My son has worked himself up to a top 5 finisher in EnduroCross and still don’t know if he’ll end up with a ride next season. It’s even on TV and the stadiums where full this season!

Like others said there used to be a lot more teams and they had more riders. Just right there Husky only has 4 guys. No Hare & Hound guys, no 250 pros in GNCC or Worcs, no National Enduro guys or Sprint Enduros.
How'd you hear about Jordan getting it?

I'll admit I thought Bell was a bad move on the team, but if you step back and look at the location of the event this year in Chile, it was pretty ideal for him. It catered to west coast guys this year with all the dry square edged tests, and a ton of tests just looked like dry riverbeds we have out here in California. Glad it worked out for him!

Zach Bell did really well but he had a serious learning curve. Early in the week he was hovering outside the top 50 and really inproved as it went on. Hopefully this means good things for the future because he seems like a nice kid

I heard JCR Honda is out of GNCC and there will be a new Honda effort that is part of that Phoenix Racing deal. Not sure who they will have on a bike yet but theyre supposed to have Joel Hetrick from ATV motocross on the team as well

Zach's not originally a west coast kid.... He was born in Tallahassee, Fl. then moved to Cairo, Ga. to the families track/facility that has a sand track and red clay.... He my be in Cali now, but that's not where he's from.... I'd say the dude did GREAT for his first EVER enduro...

Zach is the future of the U.S. team. Considering that he’s been riding off-road for less than 2 years and won an ISDE stage.... on a two stroke.... I mean that’s pretty incredible in my eyes. The kid was the Big 6 series champion last year in his first year riding off-road.

His son (Ty Cullins) races endurocross for beta, I’m sure he’s heard some industry talk while hanging out in the pits
Edit: just remembered Ashburn was on beta last season, so yeah he’s probably heard that he was leaving and going elsewhere.
