Also it has been shown on here that Herlings can in fact ride SX, and before you say it "European SX tracks ain't like ours" he has ridden US SX tracks and hasn't looked out of place on them.

Think one of the Admins, maybe ML said that he is on par with what Dungey's salary just before he retired? I would expect him to get a bigger bonus from GPs though as it a much longer series. But even if he was on less money why would he move? He is close to his family, gets to stay in his home Country, gets to still see his friends, is it really worth giving all of that up just for a bit more money?

Musquin and Roczen were always going to be KTM's 2nd rider to Herlings they moved because they thought they were better than 2nd tier, few years later they are both top riders for big teams in the USA.

If your from Europe and race the GP's and that doesn't work out you go to AMA and in America if AMA doesn't work out you go to GP's. Each series is second tier to each other.

If an Individual can win both moto and supey in one year he is the FMOTP at that moment, I hear the different sport arguments and I dismiss them.

I actually agree, he talked smack last week.
He should at least do a monster cup (but being a fast track I'm sure he would be pretty legit) I prefer sx but I enjoy watching outdoors as well, but such different sports nearly. Look at Eli this week completely different rider
, wayyyy more aggressive and the Eli we know.

Mx and sx are raced on the same machines, saying they’re two different sports is ridiculous. Saying herlings is the fastest man on the planet when he has only ever competed in mx is ridiculous. Saying Tomac is the fastest man in the planet when he has his insane sx and mx races is ridiculous.

Saying anybody is the fastest on the planet without a series in doors and out doors that everyone competes in is ridiculous. One off races prove nothing.

Until we have a series that is fair and run over a season we’ll never know who is the fmop.

People called Stewart the FMOTP and he only raced outside of America about 4 times in his entire career. Tomac is the best America has and Herlings has beaten him 7 out of 8 times they've raced, all on US soil, and he's completely dominated in Europe. That's enough for me
