Over the winter I decided I wanted to build a YZ 125, so the search on craigslist began. Ended up finding an 04 yz that was completely torn apart and missing quite a bit of stuff. It only cost me $300 and I had a lot of the extra stuff that was missing. Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of when I was working on it, but I took a lot of them when I was done.
So here is what was done to it.
09 YZ 450 forks & Triple clamps
06 YZ rear shock
15+ Airbox and plastics
Pro-circuit pipe and silencer (Head pipe is a little dented)
56mm piston
Boyesen Rad Valve
Powder coated clutch cover, side case, water pump cover, front & rear caliper & carriers
Honda front master cylinder
DID Rims & powder coated stock hubs
A few miscellaneous bling parts and some graphics
I didn't go all out with everything until I was sure I liked it. After riding it a few times I got the jetting all sorted out and the suspension dialed in. As of right now, the bike runs great and turns on a dime (compared to my 450). Hopefully I'll keep updating it. looking at getting a boyesen ignition cover and powdercoat the triple clamps. And during the next rebuild I plan on putting a 6-speed transmission in it to make the jump from 2nd to 3rd a little easier.
And of coarse cant forget the pictures...

Just wondering, what were the names/codes of the powdercoat colors you used. I love the colors on the clutch side case and cover. The hubs are also a sick color!!

This is the Black color

And this was the blue color I used for the hubs.

For the blue I had to use the super chrome base coat to give it an anodized look.
