Correct, if Eli wins the first Moto and Marv comes in 3rd, Eli doesn’t even have to line up the 2nd Moto.

You know this wouldn't even be a conversation if Tomac's bike hadn't broken. The bike issues in moto 1 with a 10 second lead with 2 laps to go was an unforced error by Eli where moto 2 was a forced error by himself. So if you give him the 25 points and a better gate pick then things would have been different. So for people to be claiming that this title is now in Marv's favor might want to step back and look at the situation a bit closer. Eli is still in control of this series

Not even gonna read the previous pages. I can only imagine. But Marv is my favorite as well. Has to be so demoralizing for Tomac to be so far superior that first month or so of the season and be down 3 points. We will see if Tomac can rebound and finish strong. In my opinion he needed that cushion to ride comfortably the rest of the season. He hasn’t handled championship pressure well in his career, so it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.
You might want to change that thought process now. Yeah sure does look like Tomac can't handle the pressure

Not even gonna read the previous pages. I can only imagine. But Marv is my favorite as well. Has to be so demoralizing for Tomac to be so far superior that first month or so of the season and be down 3 points. We will see if Tomac can rebound and finish strong. In my opinion he needed that cushion to ride comfortably the rest of the season. He hasn’t handled championship pressure well in his career, so it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.

Well I mean of course there’s a million posts on this site of people being wrong. Just gotta dig for it.

What I said was true. He hasn’t handled championship pressure well. Not until this MX season. He’s done so now and it was great to watch. This very well could be that mental hurdle he needed in order to ascend up to that all time level we know he’s capable of. Time will tell.

Lol. I was wondering if someone would dig this post up. Tomac definitely showed mental toughness down the stretch of the championship for the first time in his career. It was a great thing to see. This could catapult him to multiple championships and that elusive SX championship as well. He certainly proved my prediction wrong that's for sure.

Don’t know if i’d classify a little friendly ribbing as being a sore winner but if you say so man. Let’s not act like you simply stated you thought Marv would win. You went out of your way to bash Eli time and time again and hadn’t heard from you since so I felt it was my civic responsibility to hold you accountable the same i’d expect from you if Eli ended up chocking as prophesied. All good though man. Much respect for taking it like a man and making good on our wager when you could have just as easily switched usernames...
