I might sound like a stick in the mud but...

The reason why the older titles were amazingly fun was that regular people made awesome fantasy style tracks that humans could never conjure up in real life. *** Replicas do not make games fun*** Out of this world, amazing scenery and obstacles make the game fun. Then the better tracks get cult followings with online play and the creators end up making sequels which creates even greater anticipation & something to actually look forward too.

Waiting for the devs to post a new screenshot or video every 2 months about DLC is lame and it sucks because this game is GOOD, but the chain & ball the devs have on it these days makes it suck. I haven't even been able to get in an online lobby ONCE.. Frigging I could race online using MCM1 wtf is going on

My god I miss the old days.

In this day and age developers can sit on a game for years just releasing new dlcs for it. Look at gta 5....that got released in like 2013 and they’re still making stuff for it. Who knows how long it might take but even with AX dropping it’s still possible to get AMA tracks down the road. The feel of this game is so good that if they give everyone the track content they want and fix online issues it could be one of the best MX games ever. It has so much potential and hopefully the rainbow guys don’t fk it up
It's a lot easier to sit on a game for years and just release DLC content when the company is closing in on a 100 million copies sold. That's a massive community.

It's also easier to release DLC after DLC for a game where there's a storyline that goes with it. Racing games are pretty limited in that department. Track packs is about all they can do. Sure track packs are cool but they still get stale after a while. After that they can update to new model bikes, gear, graphics, etc. That brings in some money but far off from what games like GTA V can provide.

Besides that I'm sure a lot of people don't even upgrade graphics and gear sets once they have something they like. Reason being, you simply don't see it once you start playing and it doesn't affect the outcome of your experience. I'm not saying people don't spend money on those things, I'm just saying it's a racing game and it's more of a set it, forget it and go racing. That's the whole point of the game. The racing experience.

Would it be cool to have an MX game with an in depth career mode like the bigger games like F1, NBA, etc.? Yes, for sure but once it's completed there's very little room if any for improvement/DLC after that. Start as privateer and earn your way to a factory ride, then what? Defend title after title? Storyline would get very boring and quick. The only way I see they could provide new storylines is if they expand into different racing leagues, like GNCC, Enduro, etc. simply because it then provides new challenges. That said the core of the storyline would be the same.

I think a fairly easy way to keep it feeling a little more interesting for a longer time would be the ability to customize. Once dlc tracks are released have a custom championship mode. Let us pick original tracks or dlc tracks and put them in a series in whatever order we want. As of now now a championship is the exact same tracks and order of them every time.

Let us pick the riders we race, that would let us use the braap riders who we put on the correct oem bike. The braap riders need to have a consistency setting though, the top finishing guys in real life should be able to set as top in the game. With the braap riders you can pick reckless, aggressive, or show boat, I don’t know why there is not a consistency setting or even a plain clean riding setting. Ai riders still need improved as well they are all inconsistent and reckless.

If they did all of this you would have a really good single player mode that everyone could enjoy. I know they need to get the online working good also there are plenty who play it. The single player can’t be overlooked though a good competitive ai would make championship mode fun for all. I don’t blame the online players for getting so mad when it isn’t working correctly it’s basically the only way to get any competition as of now. I think if you could actually have some good racing with the ai they could still enjoy playing when they can’t get into an online match for whatever reason.

I totally agree. The games are in two different worlds, I just meant that ama tracks are still a possibility because of the way modern games are. You can keep adding to them over time. People seemed bummed we’re getting AX tracks instead of nationals

I'm just hoping they get everything figured out in this game and patch it till its a completed game. Then give us some dlc to keep us occupied while the next game is worked on. When they do a sequel it needs to be delivered working. I get it was the first time with the unreal engine and they are a small team but frame rate is an important part of a racing game and issues with it are a big deal.they should have a much better starting point at least on the next one with all they've learned with All Out.

I agree with you 100%. I bring this up from time to time about the good old days of MCM2, but I feel like I'm beating a dead horse at this point. I miss the user created tracks a lot. So much diversity and creativity that I'd love to see come back again. There was literally any kind of track like mx, sx, fmx arena, open world, replica, fantasy. All Out is such a fun game it would benefit hugely if they'd release a legit track editor, and it would be cool to have a community again.

Start you systems as well, I am sure we will find ways to battle, like we always do. One track has a HUGE triple, shoots you straight up. Cant wait

the tracks i see getting boring pretty quick. i think what will be cool tho is doing like 30 laps with the terriain deformation.

i noticed something i hadn’t noticed before. if you ghost race, you set a good lap and make sure to take nice lines. that ghost will save and as long as you don’t beat that ghost, he’s going to keep doing lap after lap. the cool thing about it is the ghost that keeps doing laps, continues to rut the track up over and over in the same exact line. so after 4 laps or whatever of following the ghost, he’s already made a perfect rut through the corners that keeps getting deeper and deeper. i think it’s more noticeable now because of the increase in deformation. or maybe previous to now the ghost didn’t add to the deformation lap to lap. i noticed this in the first or second track that SYS did recently. i will say the ruts do look really good.

played for about 2 hours last night and only had one network connection issue. other than that i played in a room with 5-6 guys the whole time doing sx and nats.

it's been about 2 months since i last played, i really like the feel of it. the terrain def is much better and 1st person feels like it's spot on. i tried 3rd person for one race and was all over the place.

I recently downloaded the new patch and with the changes I noticed it seems like they’ve realized and are starting to play towards the strength of this game...first person. The new cornering took a minute to get used to but now I love it. Terrain looks better, ruts are awesome and are supposed to be ever better in the dlc

Totally agree the ruts and berms are great. I also got an unfortunate random game crashing thing going on since the patch on ps4. It's kinda weird some of us have the game crash and an error code and others haven't seen it. They seem to know about it though and are creating a fix.

Overall though this game is great. I bumped my clutch setting up some and the handling isn't quite as loose feeling, but I can consistently hit the line I want more often than not now. It's nice that the lip of the jump wears forcing line changes also.

definitely Pro. All Out requires quite a bit of dual sticks controlling due to the complexity of the physics. for instance in All Out you can really lean the bike over and turn sharp with the right stick. in Pro, you can turn sharp too but overall, the physics are much “stiffer” and you don’t have as much control over the bike. i’m not sure if that’s the best way to describe it, but All Out is very free feeling with a ton of control over the bike. you can do anything. and with Pro it’s very constricted. in Pro you can pretty much ride the entire time without using the right stick but with All Out you really need to use the right stick to be good

I can believe it, I don't know who it was who said "there is something to be said for under promising and over delivering", but they need to be more careful. No wonder they get ripped to shreds on all social media.

Still looking forward to it though. Must have had to do with the one track that wouldn't work on the YouTube videos.

I've honestly never cared for AX so I think I'll pass this time. I realize asking for real Nationals is a stretch and prob never going to happen.

But how about bringing back Endurocross? Like either replicas from the series or something close and realistic? I can't imagine it would be that hard to license thru Eric Perronard and company. I wasn't a huge Untamed fan but man, I played the crap out of those two Endurocross tracks and really loved them.

It's a total different kind of racing. And in games like this and Pro...esp MVA where things get stale kinda quickly with a lot of wfo... adding a complete different type of racing is a no brainer, especially since it was very much universally well received before.

Slower, more technical. Different. And with the new physics engine and rider reflex it would be great. Just needs to be scaled correctly.

The Reazon?

I honestly prefer Super Enduro to Endurocross but MVA has done EX before and it is right here in the US so I really hope they give us some of the ballet of chaos as Dlc.

A 6-8 race series would be perfect.

I said that. And I stand by it. I do not promise a customer something unless i am sure i can exceed that expectation. That way, if I run into a roadblock, I have a little bit of time to fix it and get my product out in time. And if I don't, the customer cant be upset with early delivery.

That being said, I don't game that often. So I'm not all that butthurt when this stuff takes longer to come out because I have way too much on my plate day to day to be upset about a 2 week delay in a DLC release for my favorite game.

I just hope these guys keep dropping DLC and really expand this game big time.

I couldnt care less about the AX tracks. But it is ridiculous they pushed the date back like right as it was to be released. How do you mess that up? These guys are in a different world from everyone else. Their "soon" is a few months. In the gaming world, I would think "soon" is a matter of weeks.

I guess what I don't understand is why there's no learning from that mistake. I love these guys and the games that they make, but after 2 or 3 push backs, change it up.

Ex.

Wait until a project is done, tested and beta tested by a small community. Once all checks are complete, make an announcement.

"Exciting news coming tomorrow."

*Next Day*
"AX DLC releases tomorrow"

*Next Next Day*

Boom. Everyone's mind is blown, everyone has a boner and everyone buys the new DLC.
