Next week, in IL with family, but once I'm back in AZ she's waiting ready to go. Promise to post thoughts after having 16 CRF250R as well as a 14, 15 and 16 YZ250F, so can speak to front end vagueness of prior gen.

Friday afternoon break in at a pit near my house. I have several little courses laid out in it...some steep little hills...rough. Stock map and clicks backed out 4 on comp. within 20 minutes I was hooked! No stalls, super slim small and light feeling...even great brakes! Today did 8 sessions at a groomed watered Mankato mn mx track. We call it “mini Millville”. Same soil, same big hills...just shorter. Got SUPER rough...lots of square edges etc...I went back to standard clicker settings I am 5’7/175..and installed the TP (Travis Preston) map. Wow!! This bike RIPS and hands down the best suspension I have ever ridden on an mx course...somehow firm yet super plush. Amazing bike.
Coming off of 14'yz250f, 16'250xcf, 17'250xc

Awesome thanks for the report I’m 5’11, 155 gonna start with stock clickers and go from there. When I went to set my sag it was right at 100mm from factory which was nice. Anxious and excited but trying to not let my family see while I’m visiting home instead lol

How is it compared to your 2014 yz250f? I have a 2015 yz250f and would like to know how it compares.

I'm partial to my kevlar grips, plus I always swap the throttle tube for an aluminum one first thing. Also still gotta put on cyrca skid plate and works connection radiator braces, waiting on me in the garage.

ML said 100 I believe in his review. I read the Keefer testing website review another vital guy did, is this the same one? I know 100 was recommended in manual. I can always adjust later too as well as clickers.

Edit, just read this review, looks like he also says about 100mm sag for new bike. http://pulpmx.com/2018/07/17/keefer-tested-2019-yamaha-yz250f/

"The 2019 KYB SSS fork is also an improvement with its stiffer settings. With the chassis changes Yamaha made, the KYB fork compliments those changes wonderfully. The fork does not dive as much on de-cel and stays up in the stroke more. This leaves the rider with a more balanced feel coming hard into corners. The rear of the bike needs to have a higher sag number (100mm) for 2019, but feels lower in the rear compared to the 2018 (102mm)."
