Just in case anyone is tracking, I called my local shop about the alpinestars helmet. In the system, he does not see it listed as the s-m10, but sees an m10 helmet listed with availability 9/8/2018. MSRP $650. Anyone else working a parts counter might be able to look it up.

I work for Parts Unlimited, the distributor for them. Your local shops can pre-order them now and will start getting them at the end of July.
September is current ETA but yes, WPS and PU are offering pre-order now.

I was just going off what Joaquin told me last week. Our system is showing 9/6 as availability date but who knows at this point.

I have a few Bell Moto 9 Flex helmets and love them. The only down side I have found is they have a small goggle box compared to others. Some of the new "large frame" goggles don't fit the best.

How about the Bell Moto 9 custom fit? I haven't seen many reviews of Bell's custom fit program but it looks awesome.

As for the other helmets, I break down the choices to a Snell M2015 rated helmet (list), or a 6D, or a Leatt. Other helmets, including the UFO, have nothing different or better to offer.

When would Bell release the new Moto Flex 9?

Homie you were out cold for about 8 min. I was one of the first ones to you. That poor one industries helmet was cracked in half. Should you even moto yet? Bell all the way.

Big fan of the carbon SE4. I have always loved the Shoei and Arai helmets but lately most brands are moving the chin bar in further and further (Bell also). Hate taking a digger and getting popped in the lip! Not happening in the SE4.
